As people commented that it is a little confusing here is my idea:
You control a human, windows are eyes
Generator is heart and gives energy but uses oxygen (liquid fuel)
Liguid fuel need to be exchanged via pump (2 square buttons) to greater out and breath in "fuel"
Solid fuel is food, and waste is... well waste ;-)
