I really love the look of this game and I wanted to keep little Gil happy <3

Amazing style! Pixel art is my favorite.

The sound effects feel very out of place, and the gameplay lacks variety, but I still enjoyed the short time I played it.

I think i killed Gilbert ! It&#039;s a pretty good game and i got scared by the "hey fishy" at the start

Awesome game. Dragging cards sometime glitch to the middle of the screen, however: GREAT music GREAT art and GREAT concept. It actually got several loud laughts out of me.

The sound effects are hilarious, music is good too! I also like Gil. For some reason I could not seem to be able to discard cards by dragging right, instead I had to move them up over the played cards. I wish there were more types of cards and I would personally reduce that -8 to a -4 or -5. Good job overall, the theme was well incorporated. :thumbsup:

oh noooo I killed Gil! :( so sorry! This is such a great concept, I love how you could play a sort of tamagotchi game but with cards! great mechanics and great fun. Cute graphics and sound was spot on for the mood of the game. Well done, I&#039;m glad I could play it! :D the only thing I found was that when dragging a card to discard it, it was getting stuck in the fish bowl so had to move the card around the edge of the game window to discard it

Great little card game. Only taking one card with you to the next round put an interesting twist on it that made me really contemplate the most necessary card in my hand each round.

Nice game! Fun and simple mechanics. one think I noticed is that the music was too high by default (web), besides that I liked it, 10/10.

This was 100% what I was looking for. The game is easy to pick up but hard to really master. My hat&#039;s off to you!

I loved Gilbert, he&#039;s so cute. I won in the first try, but it wasn&#039;t always easy. I got a few cards that took out a lot of Gil&#039;s happiness. This game was so relaxing with great sound work too.

It&#039;s cute, and I love the music. The gameplay would have benefited from being a bit more forgiving, my first run was unwinnable because of bad luck, which was unfortunate. I liked the idea of card counting (I assume the deck is always the same set of cards), it added an interesting risk vs reward layer which helped.

Really fun card game. I had the same idea about keeping fish alive! Really liked the play 2, discard 1 mechanics as it forces you to prioritize. I think I&#039;d add a little more padding for the food and dirty meters (maybe increase each by 1 or 2 at most) since if you already have one down, a little bad luck on the next card can knock you out. I could see where that would provide a lot of challenge, but I kinda wanted to keep playing the game when one knocked me out like that. Over all though, I really had fun playing this game, and I hope you keep working on it. I&#039;d love to see you make more humorous effect cards.

Fun little game. That stupid favourite plant kept dying and ruining his day. I did come across one bug where if you took a card that you had put into the play area and dragged to the discard slot the game would get hung up. Otherwise great job on this theme! Love the artwork!

That was pretty fun! I went down the goldfish path too. We should start a list of all the goldfish entries lol. The mood was super chill and relaxing. I thought for sure I was going to win no problem when suddenly a 2 card showed up and ruined everything. Will definitely be playing this some more though. Would love to see it expanded on (different settings/tanks, music, fish; really lean into the atmosphere).

Very easy game. Great presentation across the board. There is soem bizzare behaviour sometimes when drawing cards.

Overall aesthetic is really nice! Would have loved some animations for the fish, though.

I didn&#039;t feel like the cards in play gave me particularly meaningful decisions to make.

Nice graphics, well executed concept. If you guys wrote the music too you nailed it--even if not a good selection for the vibe.

I like the overall gameplay. very unique for a game about taking care of a fish! I would suggest to add some more game feel sounds and visuals. like discarding didn&#039;t feel like discarding, so I was unaware what was going on at the beginning. love the pixel art, but would like to see some animation with it to make it feel alive! great work!

the cards are glitchy sometimes but it doesn&#039;t matter because it&#039;s fun to play :P

Not sure if this is a bug, but sometimes when I&#039;m dragging a card and it goes over another card, it will snap and lock to the middle of the screen. Also don&#039;t really see whats the point of the happy splash card that adds 0 happiness for little gil.

Otherwise a really fun card game though. I ESPECIALLY like the victory music. That, combined with gil&#039;s smile makes it all worthwhile

Cute game! I wish there was a bit more strategy involved.

Game looks nice! It feels like a form of solitaire, game design wise I feel like it&#039;s a bit lacking, but you&#039;ve captured the atmosphere well. Overall I like it, however I think it is lacking something that makes it &#039;fun&#039; perhaps thats difficulty, maybe it&#039;s complexity, maybe it&#039;s content or pacing. But it feels like it&#039;s almooooost there.

Gilbert is so happy !!! amazing entry, very cool design and execution of a well planned game. Maybe some animations are missing while you are looking through cards, but for a LD game its really no problem, feels soo nostalgic and relaxing! Congrats!

This is a great game. It happened to me that I lost just after the first turn as the poor Gilbert died of hunger but I just had no card to help me. Beside that, again, this is a great game! Well done! Enjoyed playing it a lot!

It&#039;s just a plant Gilbert, no need to be so sad.

There was a glitch I don&#039;t think was mentioned was with the settings menu, all the volume sliders were set to zero when I first started but audio was playing. When I first started sliding one to the right you could instantly hear the volume go down then slowly go up as it moved across. Another audio glitch was if you clicked Main Menu from the settings window it restarted the audio but if you clicked close it just carried out. You can probably just ditch the main menu option there.

Other than that, wonderful little game. Loved the audio, the sad french le sigh, and the game play was interesting as I got into it. If I got a fart on the previous round I was hoping that I got something to clean the water and didn&#039;t have something really bad drawn against me that I would lose before I had a chance.

Also this game is bloody amazeing could do with a bit more depth and its kinda quite buggy but the comsept is so cute and fun i couldnt stop my self from playing a lot, though i feel bad for Gril... Grils a good fishy. :(

Really fun concept for a card game!

The randomness of the cards felt a bit unfair, as I got 2 -8 happiness right at the beginning of the game. However the idea and art were good and kept me playing still.

If I were to also nitpick it felt weird that each smile icon is equal to 2 happiness instead of 1.

The keep one card mechanic was very nice to add some strategy to the game, but it still didn&#039;t feel like a real choice to make, as the answer was always at best obvious or otherwise not important.

All that said it was a fun game, and I am nitpicking out of my enjoyment, great job!

Never seen a game about keeping something alive with gameplay that involves cards. It was quite fun till the end~ And I really loved the relaxing music. Great entry!

There are some minor glitches when you drag the cards, but that&#039;s fine.

I really enjoyed the game and played until the end. Completed on my first run, I did not receive any unfair cards throughout the whole game, like other people pointed out. The music also fits perfectly, great job.

Only bit that was confusing is the fact that 1 happy actually equals half a smiley face.
