Love it! I have an appreciation for anything Tic-80 or Pico-8 as I know how much more coding is involved when making things, this plays really well and is so much fun! Well done!
Fantastic! Love the concept and the art. Also difficultly was nicely tuned. Took me a little while to beat it but I made it a little farther each time.
Great graphics, great sound design. Very well polished overall, it's just a great game! The concept is a bit simple but the premise of the game is very funny. I have to say it's incredible how long the enemies have arms haha.
@endurion thanks for the feedback! No spot is completely safe, but you are kind of right that some spots are safer than others, due to the frequency of different enemy patterns.
Being waiting to play this since you posted about it on the main page, so i followed you to make sure i didn't miss this one. Really nice game, innovative mechanics, cool graphics and music, and damn, that's a hard one, couldn't win at all but have a really good time playing it.
I love the premise of the game, and the actual gameplay works really well (though the ball did get stuck in one position on occasion, but I'll chalk that up to the web player being finicky). The posing of the character was really good as well, especially when you moved the ball backwards. I think it would be interesting if you added some form of additional visual to help telegraph the arm motions, but it's not really important since you made the movements clear on their own.
Amazing stuff! Some of the most horrendous travelling I have seen in a basketball game. I just hope those are all arms swinging in and not, other...things. Great fun, kept me coming back for more.
10/10 made me more tense than fixing bugs 10 minutes before upload time Seriously basically no flaws (since it's also really small) and the arm movements and transitions are incredible, especially considering you made it in that weird virtual experimental computer, it must've been hell to get them to work that well. Only complaint I would have is the difficulty, I'd maybe add 1 or 2 more lives, and/or reduce the timer, though I did manage to beat it.
This game was very funny! 5 humor points will go right to this ball hog. Haha, this game misses the mark on the theme big time but it was still really good. I like how the ball changes hands. Great work.
Very nice! I wasn't sure about things when I first started. Things were too easy, but then multiple guys started coming in swinging their crazy arms. I started laughing and having fun. This is a great game. Incredibly innovative. Nice work!
Haha that was amazing. Is this inspired by Kuroko no Basket? Or basketball anime in general I suppose. The intro is so funny, and it's even funnier when you imagine that it really took him that long to dunk the ball, and there really were that many attempts to take the ball. You really nailed the anime style with all the background effects. Well done!
I dunkman'd so hard. I love how simple the gameplay is, but how you ramp up the difficulty toward the end. Art and music really establish the retro vibe and the humor is great. Nice work!
Nice graphics, fun little game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/rlppIbg4aVI
Awesome entry with excellent graphics and audio! I played around 10 times but still can't get the dunk lol. Had no enough time to response when the progress was around 60~80%. I really enjoy your game. :)
I loved it. Pro tip, if you hold down or down-left you'll be safe 80-90% of the way to the basket! A perfect compo entry. Not sure how it would scale up into a full game though!
Nice idea, the retro game style is perfect ! The difficulty increase well. You should add character animations when player success or fail to protect baloon in order to make the game more epic.
Nice game. I like the graphics and idea. Simple, little game. One approvement could be at the beginning. If one press a key down, it should not go to the next part, but the text should be instant there. Hard to describe. :P
Top points for humour, this was hilarious, when the huuuuge long arms art appearing, very smooth animation on the ball dribbling ( maybe if you keep working post compo/jam , you could add the bounce so he's not fouling! :v: )
Lol very dramatic game! Felt just like a sports anime. My keyboard is weird so I wish I could play with WASD instead of arrows, but I can't really complain about that. Nice work!
Wow, this is an amazing game honestly! It’s polished, it’s fun, it’s innovative, I love the core gameplay loop, and while it is a bit challenging it’s still awesomely-fun! I sadly didn’t manage to get to the end, I attempted four times and almost got to the end all 4 times but didn’t manage to. I think the only minor complaint I have is that I wish the enemies were a bit more visible before they attacked, and that you can tell where they are going to attack, sometimes I get a bit confused on where they are going to attack and I end up losing a health, but that’s a very minor critique, honestly the game is super fun! I love it :D

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Just one thing, is there actually any way the others can catch the ball in the middle top or bottom? This spots seemed totally safe everytime.
Other than that, potential winner of this compo!
Excellent work!

Maybe I should watch slam dunk...
One of my favourites so far. GG.

Good job.
Very original, and well executed!
牛逼。
I read it actually!
