EDIT
- Post LD build and WebGL version are now up. Please check them out, the story is finished!
This is a prototype for Ludum Dare 46: Keep it Alive.
You play as eveleen, a young women who's depressed. Her life isn't going how she'd like and she's ready to make a change.
Through a series of decisions you must try to make a better life for yourself.
In keeping with the theme, the aim is to keep "the hope" alive. To keep Eveleen's "happiness" alive.
All you have to do is click the buttons. It's meant to give you choice, which then affects your mood so be wise about your selection. I really wanted to create the feeling of depression and frustration in the player. I feel I could do that if I made this into a full fledged game, but boy is it hard to write a proper story AND program in 3 days!
I hope you all enjoy it and apologies for any odd bugs.
The included link points to an itch.io site with the Unity build packaged up and a link to the webGL (it's the same as the Unity build link  )
LASTLY
I encourage you to play it a few times.
You can click through the text for a faster experience (but you should read it the first time!). You click through by clicking in the same place where the "Continue >>>" button is.
I've included *some* alternate routes so that you may be able to see how it affects the game.
