A cat and a goose have to survive a trip to the grocery store to get supplies for their humans who are quarantined at home.
WASD or Arrows = move
Space = fire
No real end game. Just kill the bad guys. If you die, you disappear and have to restart the game.
The game isn't perfect but I'm happy with the progress in the timeframe that I worked on it. I might try to put together a post jam release that is more rounded out but this is as far as I was able to make it in the allotted time frame.

Thanks! @lamasaurus! That was actually a happy accident. I was struggling to get the projectile collisions to work correctly and almost didn't make the deadline. When I finally fixed it the collisions, recoil from the gun was an unintended (but great) side effect.
Pretty neat, I liked the recoil mechanic, you don't see that much, pretty cool touch. Also was something supposed to happen after killing all enemies? Felt like I missed something, or was that really the end? Anyways, fun game, good job.
loved the graphics! I can see a good time spent in there I would suggest to spend more time on end game and restart have a bug, I had to reload after an enemy hit me. Anyway nice entry!
Very nice art, I love all the food and items in the shop, but I am wondering the same thing as Gabriel, was there an end or I was I just supposed to kill all the enemies? Also where is the goose? haha
It was cute. I like the choice of art assets. I too enjoyed the recoil from the gun, though I believe I can use it to clip into shelves which seems to make the cat disappear.
@gabriel-pittol and @pjnovas thanks for the feedback! I agree that the end game needs work. I think I may do a post jam release that is a little more rounded out. This was as far as I could get within the timeframe of the jam.

@weirdybeardyman lol, I didn't quite get to adding the goose to the game. The goose is there in spirit but not in reality.
