I liked the story drawings that have a personnal touch to them and I like the dev work of your game. As it is not a usual compliment, I'll explain x) : everything that is shown works properly. It is not flawed and every player action is fluid and logical. I liked how you took the theme of 'keeping an entity alive by feeding/watering/loving it' and made it your own by choosing to make these tasks not related to a timer a gauge but to mini-games. It works well and make this type of game less stressful.
What I think can be improved on is the mood : the game has a sad mood at first, which works well, but then when Flerg finds their piglerg the mood should be happier, but the very melancolic music suggests otherwise. Or if it stays sad, maybe show why to the player (piglerg can die or depart if we don't take care of them ?) And I think the music also clashes with the apple/run part.
I understand very well that in a gamejam, everything is not perfect, I'm just pointing at what I think could be improved on a project that I find lovely and well made :)
OMG, Flerg is so huggable! I would be his friend. I really enjoyed the graphics (especially Flerg himself, can you tell ;)?) and the piano music really added to the atmosphere.
Gameplay is simple but fitting to the overall feel of the game. Would love more than two levels. Great job overall!
I enjoyed the atmosphere here. Cute characters. The first time I played it the snail effect seemed to have continued after the level restarted so I had to restart the game.
Cute little game :purple_heart: ! At first I thought the running part was a bit hard, but after two attempts I succeeded. Short but well done, and really nice !
I feel very bad for Flerg :( And I think piglerg is very cute!!! This game was pretty short, but this is nice entry!!!
P.S. I would love to see second part of their adventures!!! Maybe add more of chase levels (this type of levels is very fun and entertaining) in second part?
Fu game but I was disappointed in how short it was. I would love to see a full version of this game later down the line, maybe with more events or more recursion. I hope to see your work in the next game jam.
I gotta say, I actually quite like it! I like game with different mechanics, loved the intro. Very simplistic and kept me going. One bug though, I died on the snail floor once and my real speed never came back so I needed to restart the game. Good entry o/
