Are you the kind of person who would selflessly rescue a dying baby animal, you know, if the stakes weren't super high. Have you ever wanted to prove as much to your friends, so they'll stop saying "Yeah, right", but the opportunity never seems to present itself naturally?
If so, then this may be the game for you. In less than 2 minutes, you could be smugly declaring "There, see?" or "I told you so" and living with the satisfaction that yeah, maybe you are that kind of person, who thinks about the safety of mildly-inconveniently-timed calls to adventure, a true maverick hero, a paragon of the pro-small-animals-not-being-left-to-die-in-an-alley movement.
My first jam starts right when I get off work tonight. Picking up a pizza and some beer on the way home and preparing to churn out something with terrible noob code and crappy art. However, if even one person likes it, I'll consider that a success.
I tryed to be a responsible adult and look after a freezing kitty. But after failing multiple times, i decided that im a Dog person. :) (I was actually expecting there to be a dog in here somewhere, like outside the hospital or something hah) Good game!
Great mechanic! I can see it expanding well for a puzzle game. Especially if you added in multiple cats or people to heat up or keep warm. My only feedback would be that it might have been easier to see spatially if it was straight top down instead of from the side. Sometimes I would think that I was on a certain line that I was not. Great work
I managed it but it was close! turning into a maze was mean! ;) Only because you can't see if the route is wrong until it is too late. Still, a nice idea and the sharing mechanic worked well.
