Hello, It's my first LudumDare Jam ! This game is about an astronaut looking for life far far away from Earth. To survive during space travel, he needs to use components of water, whereas water is the cot of life. Explore planets, and try to reach one which welcomes life.
You need to get enough hydrogen to survive with the extreme temperature, and oxygen to breath :) You need to bring back to your spaceship enough hydrogen, oxygen and isotops to be able to explore an other planet and maybe find life on it !
Controls :
- left and right arrows to move, up and down arrows to take/give components, or to leave the planet. - Space to jump in space. - Your mouse to click on ''Start'', and ''Land'' if you survive to the first planet ;) Tips : in the spaceship, when you have no more oxygen, or hydrogen on you, keep pressing up arrow, and you transform isotops in oxygen or hydrogen.

It's a cool concept. The gameplay was buggy, especially with the collisions (and you can fall off the map), which made it a bit painful. It feels quite slow and difficult, I could launch the spaceship only when I ran for the first place with resources and then come back. I once won by pure luck, haha. I liked the spaceship art and idea for the entry.
Nice game!! Although I couldn't quite understand what you had to do in the first few minutes but then I got it but couldn't make it to planet 2 :disappointed:. Otherwise it is a really nice game. It still misses some audio although, then it really would become a nice game!!
Thank you for your comments. Yes so bad, the cosmonaut forgot his walkman on Earth ;) At the end of LDJam, I will put an intro, some musics, space art instead of my ugly backgrounds and debug ^^ If you have any ideas I could add , let me know :)
I like the idea, but I can't seem to play, I picked up some ice? At least the little I could given the collision issues. But I couldn't seem to get it back in the ship. Am I missing some trick? Maybe with a few more hours of bug fixing this could be an interesting game.
Interesting game. I tried it a few times and got game over withing a minute. Couldn't get out of my ship with the arrows. I like the graphics and the theme. I saw you were at 19 reviews when I reviewed so hopefully this helps you out.
@archimagus Sorry to read that. The game has bugs, I don't understand right now. I didn't find a bug about coming back in ship. I'll investigate. Maybe do a 2.0 version on my itchio page.
@virtuaworlds Thank you for your review :) Stand near the back door and use down arrow. You need to take oxygen and hydrogen before openning the door, to avoid the game over.
