Keep it Burning

You are cold, hungry and in a forest alone.
The only chance of survival is finding heat, but you have no matches or any way of starting a fire...
A lightning strikes in front of you! A bush catches fire: This is your only chance!
You grab your axe, and run to the nearest tree! Time to gather some firewood and KEEP IT BURNING

Gameplay

Gather wood from nearby trees and fuel the fire that was started
Keep warm and add fuel to the fire to keep it burning and alive in the rain

Walk with WASD
Click on trees to chop them
Click on the fire to add logs to it

Music and SFX

Music and SFX was made in FL Studio by myself

Art

Art was drawn on a touchpad in Aseprite (It was painful)

Coded in VS Code without Intellisense since it broke in the last update :/

Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

This game is really cool. I love the camera shake, it really adds to the feeling of the game along with the rain. I think the play time could be extended if the trees regrow or there were more challenges. After a while I find it hard to keep the fire alive because the trees are further and further away so my trips take longer and eventually I die. I am not sure how to get around this.

Nice job! I think this game could use some UI cause it was hard to tell when I was about to die. Nice and simple though!
