Hello, I'm a bachelor-straight-to-doctorate student. After graduating from undergraduate, I went directly to your school to study doctorate. The normal graduation period is 5 years, and it may be postponed up to 8 years.
You can see my graduation requirements and my current status. Every turn, I have 7 initial points of energy and different things I can do according to my status. When the energy is not enough, you can click the ‘Next turn’ button to refresh.
I'll trouble you in the next five years. Pay more attention to my attributes. If there are 3 items that are too low, I will be in danger. It doesn’t matter if I graduate or not, please keep me alive.
The gameplay is easily understandable and seems "fun" (for pros!), even tho the UI is kind of overwhelming. (For a con...)
The scope was "high" as far as I can see from what was accessible to my eyes during the playsession, the concept of the game fits the theme on a strict litteral level (staying alive).
Still nice to see how much seems to have been done in this timeframe. Nice!
Bug I've encountered blocking my session in browser: Cards aren't dealth after the first turn. Even tho I have a pop up saying something along "you figured out your hand fills at the begining of the turn"
Really nicely done! I really like this take on the theme, it really captures and shows the experience of being a doctoral student.
I couldn't figure out how to publish papers, even after taking all classes and getting research progress up to full. Perhaps this also is a reflection of the doctoral student life.
