In Kusa, you play as grass 草, and must keep the collective spirit of your grass patch alive. Your natural enemies, sheep 羊, will try to destroy you, so spread your patches of grass and consume the sheeps' droppings to become more and more powerful. Increase your power level to 2500 to complete a level, and complete all ten levels to win. Be careful though; failing a level will send you back to the beginning!
Kusa contains an in-game tutorial page. Basic controls: WASD to move and Spacebar to begin a level. Use the mouse or hit Enter to navigate menus.
Suprisingly fun. Definitely a creative twist on the on the theme. The pixel art was beautiful but if there was one thing I could change it would be to make the music a little less repetetive. Overall very fun... Good Job (:
Absolutely love the Wario Ware aesthetic, and it's a solid concept. I think my main criticism would be that getting hit once sends you all the way back to the start, which seems excessive. The actual gameplay is quite good, though.
I liked the graphical representation of the goat! Had to turn the music down because it was driving me crazy. Never before have I played grass in a game! Nice game overall!
Amazing how simple rules lead to complex enough strategy to be interesting, requiring quick thinking and adapting to how things change around you to stand a chance. absolutely amazing gameplay, though I think there might have been some form of memory leak as it got super laggy after the first level on my machine. might wanna check that out
