About

Well, it's a chicken with machine gun. Questions about that? :)

Objective

The objective is to protect your egg (your baby) as long as you possibly can.

How to play

* Control the chicken and aim with the ARROW-keys, the WASD-keys or your mouse (only horizontal)
* TIP: Use the W and D keys to turn fast, and the mouse to aim more precisely
* Shoot with the SPACE BAR-key or the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON
* Use the MINIMAP, it's a great tool to keep track of the enemies
* Pick upp ammo on the ground, they will increase your weapon damage
* Press N at anytime to play the next music track

Enemies

Enemies have different stats:
* The girl has very little health but she is very fast
* The police has heavy armor and can therefore take more damage
* The zombie is a monster with a lot of health, but is very slow
* Enemies health and spawn rate increase the longer you survive

I was already sold by the title :). Nice game!

I thought it was kinda hard to aim though (might be what you want idk). Maybe consider rotating the chicken and shooting towards the mouse. (Also nice formating, makes it very clear and organized :D)

I agree, it is a bit hard to aim as it takes some getting used to. I will look into if I can improve on that, and perhaps as you suggest let the player aim with the mouse.

Awesome execution! It was challenging and fun and looks great. I kept mixing up A and D as a 'strafe', even though they just turn. Great job!

Really nice game: the minimap is only a bit disorientating. The camera on the minimap also has perspective so this gives a really strange effect.

Totaly awesome. I really felt the action in my blood veins (a lot thanks to the music). And also..chicken with machine gun? Sold just as I saw it.

I only missed the "step-aside" on a and d and aim on the mouse. Somehow thats what i am used to. But in the end it doesnt even really matter, i had fun.

Awesome game!

At first it felt weird to have the A and D keys to turn instead of the classic lateral movement but it was great.

I don't know if I missed it but I didn't know what those things enemies left when they were killed were for

@attx I think it was a design by accident as i only had keyboard control from start. At the end the keyboard become fast turning and mouse for precision aiming.

I had the minimap not rotate at the beginning but I felt that was harder to get oriented on.. but I don't know..

Those are bullets :) They increase your damage when you pick them up

Nice consistent graphics. The A-D Controls aren't flexible, an option that make it go left-right would be nice to respond faster to fights

The most polished game I've tested so far, and a lot of fun. One aspect I really liked is now some enemies move fast but have low HP, and others are really slow but take a ton of hits. Very well done.

this is simple and fun and i enjoyd playing it, definitly a good one. i particularly like the addition of the minimap it helps a LOT. matter of personal preference but the grass was a little on the shiny side.

Solid game, very enjoyable.

Love the minimap, it allows you to gather the bullet upgrades and still maintain focus on the field.

Personally I felt like the difficulty could ramp up a bit faster, but overall really fun.

Really nice 3D game, they're hard to do in the time. Plays well, biggest critique is maybe it lacks a little progression. Love the "I'm you baby Damn it! on the sign :)

Decent game with nice graphics and a hilarious protagonist concept. The gameplay could certainly use more elements, such as weapons. Enemies could use some sound too. Overall though a good entry and fun to play.

I was so bad at this game, but it was good fun. Great music and visuals :D
Unfortunately I think the aim was a bit too sensitive for me and I think a mini map in the corner would really help!

So I felt strongly compelled by this game for profile picture reasons. And I was not disappointed! Though the SFX are waaay too loud, playing with a headset I had to set them to 50% to get a good balance between music and sound effects.

Will you add more stuff in the future? Like, I dunno. More weapons or something?

great work! Honestly, I was excited for how this game would turn out as soon as I saw your machine-gun-chicken blogpost on the first day ^^ as others have mentioned, a future expansion with more weapons would be pretty nice.

I am currently working on another game, but after the LD-voting period is over I'm definitely considering working on this game. I've received some awesome and constructive feedback from everyone and I agree, the game would be much more fun with more weapons for variation, a sense of progress, more polish and perhaps a shop where you can unlock items.

Amazing game! The mouse sensitivity is a bit to high for my liking, but the game is pure fun! Good idea to drop extra-damage buffs, that motivates you not to stay on the same spot.
