Momma Knows Best (MKB) is a single-player Survival Game, with some Shoot’em Up & Defense your Base aspects, framed in an environmentally ruled game system that has a few procedural generated elements.
In MKB the player controls a mother bird that must keep her offspring well-fed and safe. In order to do so, this feathered creature will need to manage its actions very wisely: Would this mother fetch food, or should she fend off the predators, or maybe it is time to change the nest location? It is impossible to do all at the same time. At some point, youngsters will spread their wings and leave the nest, and the cycle of life repeats itself; but nurture and nature will shape differently the descendant, based on its mother’s actions.
