Victoria has Nyctophobia, she is very afraid of the dark.
Unfortunately, it's her first night home alone, which means it is your responsibility to keep all of the candles in the house alight. But they will go out over time and you will need to relight them. If you keep Victoria in the dark for too long, her phobia will get the best of her and she will faint.
You need to collect matches to light her candle. You need to use her lit candle, to light the other candles around the house.
Pretty moody, and really nice lighting. It just feels weird you can't light your candle from other candles already lit. (Or if you can, I couldn't figure out how)
I liked the mood you created and the game il really polished too. It's just a little bit frustrating how the candle lights off so quickly... This is an underrated game :)
Very good mood thanks to the sound design and the nice pixel art. It's too bad that we progress blind most of the time in a new room until we found a candle to light up. And may be light up her candle could slow the decrease of the phobia. Anyway it's a solid entry, well done.
Cool concept and very atmospheric. The manual lighting of each match is surprisingly tense which reminds me of the manual opening of doors in Amnesia. I like that you telegraphed the darkness bar nearly zero with a gasp of fear. Great job!
