Rules
This is a turn by turn game (up to 3 players).
At each turn you have to decide: - To move one of your boats - Or to test an attack on one of the opponents map
Quick Notes
- Graphics are very simple, I'm not a Designer... - Onboarding, User Notification and Gameover must be improved with additional time to work on it. - Mobile is supported but UI should be improved with additional time to work on it.
It reminds me my childhood. I love sea battle and it's nice to be able to play face to face with another player, even on mobile. Congrats for this solo performance !
Had issues getting in, but after that it was pretty good. Enjoyed the gameplay, I wonder what your backend is, because that search functionality is impressive haha. High innovation marks just for that alone :)
Interesting concept, will come back to it in a bit when maybe there are lobbies or players! :) The music is sort of fitting! I like the twist on the classic Battleship of being able to move ships but it seems like it might be Battleship other than that?
Looks interesting 'sea battle' rebuild, but even i found the "copy the link onto clipboard"- button, i could not get this to work. I used also two browsers and the other account complains the error "this room is locked" while i still can be in the same room. An additional problem is the music, which creeps out my soul; at least it should be has the smooth loop
Thanks, the "copy link to clipbard" give a link to the room that allows just to follow the game. Share the full link of your navigator with the secret to enable multi player.
Thanks for the feedback @hiisileiri it's fixed now : when you enter a locked room the system will ask you for the room secret. You have to force refresh the page in your navigator to get the updated version.
Hello again! It seems to work now, while you probably need to write better instructions for the other players somewhere. In the game; there would be nice if you see where your opponent were shooting, because it would add more interplay: the actual thing is, when i was a kid and watching the opponent's failures or just how she/he perform the turn of his, were just an enriching feature in the whole game. I cannot see/or just able to use/or don't get the idea of the ammunition functions, or there is just a bug. I though anyway it would be a nice additional feature to first by your whole fleet and add these 'super weapons' into you ship slots, and during the game the main strategy is to destroy the correct enemy ships to deny the right to an opponent to use the certain weapons; larger ships may carry more weapons, but those are more easier to find out from the map than smaller ships. Also, unlike in the original game, the grid/arena would be much larger than a 10x10 slots; on the PC's it could be like even 100x100, and to find your enemy ships you could 'shoot' e.g radars or do even more sophisticated shots
@hiisileiri you can see where your opponent are shooting, it's the white dots that should appear on your map.
I didn't have the time to implement the different weapons I had in mine (I'll add that probably later).
The grid size is already adjustable as everything is dynamic, I just have to take the time to find how it could adapt properly to different kind of screens.
