Hey man! what a cool game, I did find it pretty difficult though. It's funny because I actualy made a quite similar game. I do like the jumping mechanic in yours. Really good job on your first game and keep going!

the game is really fun to play, it feels good to make really high headers, and the walking sounds are really fun!

I really liked the polished look to your game. Music and sound effects were fantastic as well! I did think it was too difficult though. I couldn't get passed 3 or 4 on easy.

Congratulations on completing a game from idea to release! I found it quite fun, and the ball physics was perfect! I found the spider controls a bit slippery, though - and the poor guy seems to have lost a pair of legs :-)

To be hones - I was a bit sceptical, when I saw the image in a games list, but this one is a gem! Hard as hell, but really fun to play, sound is nice as well. Only one thing - I found the countdown a tad long cosidering how ofter I needed to restart. But really fun entry, well done! :)

A good casual game with a gameplay which fits with theme as well. I had fun playing, but it is so hard. It could be improved with another collider - something larger. Physics are clever and impressive. However I love it. The spider is so cute. Well done. Thank you for this entry ++

I particularly enjoyed the six-legged spider protagonist, very cute.

Gameplay is pretty challenging! It seems the difficulty changes the timer but not the hitbox size or the ball speed. I love the moving sound, it is just hilarious. :smile:

Here are my painful attempts:

@icxon Btw you did actually win 2 from what I can see, one you seemed to accidentally skip (3:58), and the same at 5:26. A small bug shows that you still had time on the clock but you won, this is shown by the message 'Nice try but easy is for wimps' and a different music track, which can feel slightly misleading. The title should be more like 'You won, but that was too easy...'. From feedback I've also heard that the retry key should be 'R' rather than space as this can lead to people skipping the end title (as you had witnessed). The fade/scene change is a tiny bit slow due to the animation which leads people to "frantically skip". Hope that helps.

Fun game, but I was quite bad at it (even on easy) :sweat_smile: I would have appreciated the spider's collider being slightly larger. There were multiple times it felt like the ball went right through me.

curious concepta haha. I missed some in-game tutoral to explain the controls but it's a really nice game with a great work in the audio side (I really love the sound when the spider is moving). Nice work. Congratulations.

A small update has been pushed which has fixed some of the issues following feedback.
- Fix [Space] binding to [R]
- Fix confusing winner messages
- Fade in faster, remove 1s before loading
- Fix winning 'Time leftover' > 0ms

Fun game, I love the animations. Sometimes the sorting layers are a bit weird.

It's a very interesting game, but I don't think it's accurate to use the keyboard to control spiders. Maybe it's better to use the mouse to control spiders

Fun game. There are some slight things, like a more generous hitbox and some tighter movement, and this game would really be something else. Also, medium felt a little too hard for me personally.

A hard but also a really fun little game. I love the music and the visual style. The controls is pretty good, the spiders movement felt a bit slow. Overall is this a good jam game. Well done.
