Two alien races went to war and one got almost entirely wiped out, only one egg remains, and they want it gone. You have to protect it from all the missiles by building around it.
Note to Linux users: I have provided a Linux build, but I really strongly urge you to build it yourself, due to library incompatibilities.
Note to people who like looking at the code: Try not to have an aneurysm, I gave up on writing high quality code 1 day in.
The color of your cursor indicates what you can do: if it's gray you can place blocks, if it's purple you don't have any more blocks, and if it's red you can't place a block there.
game was pretty addictive and kept me playing for 20 minutes, a few minutes into the game the screenshake gets really intense and annoying. After the egg hatched it would've been nice to see the creature grow, also could use rain sound effects and some background music to liven it up imo
I agree it would have been cool to see the creature grow more, I got past the hatching part and played for quite a while longer, the main thing I would have liked is a score that increases over time, so you know how well you did. I liked the screenshake but sometimes it was a bit much
