About our game: Volley Gosh

Volley Gosh is a bright and happy ball game where you must try keep your "volley gosh ball" in the air for as long as possible. Watch out for the increasing challenge and surprises that abound on the joyful beach while you get your next high score!

I like the style of graphics. Could be better if game continues after first score. It is hard to master the game when you always have to leave main menu. Good game by the way.

I love the feel of this game. It took me a little bit to get the feel for where the ball would land, but I get get the hang of it.

Wow it looks awesome, very cute and has a nice atmosphere, but I find the controls a little hard, it's hard to guess where the ball is going.

Thanks for all the comments so far :) Given we still had another hour or so left I decided to go in and update the hit window to make it more forgiving. We agreed that maybe we had been playing it too much ourselves and wouldn't understand how someone coming to it fresh might go with the game.

Awesome graphics and fun concept! It feels really juicy too, the dash mechanic is a lot of fun and the "high score" UI element was really fun too.

Adorable, all the way around. Love the concept of a cooperative ball-type game, and the extra dangers were a fantastic way to spice things up. I agree the hit window could have / (maybe) should have been expanded, but at least it was consistent and fair. :) Well done

I really love the visuals of the game and how dynamic the camera is. The volleyball was really hard to hit and it takes a while to get use to where to hit it but it maybe just me.

Overall, great game, I really enjoyed it!

This looks super lovely, and the music fits the game very well. I really struggled to get into a good rhythm, so had to restart quite often, which felt very slow.

But overall, a nice polished experience. Well done!

The visuals of this game are really lovely and the music suits it so well! My only frustration was that I couldnt really judge where the ball was going which caused me to miss a bunch.

This is so friggin cute. Absoluteley adore your Style and the cute ideas in this game. It felt a little slow to me and i couldnt really gague where the ball would go ( but this was mostly because i sucked, haha)

This is adorable! Love the look, the polish the sound, the overall quality! this was a great idea and unique take (I`m biased) and I was very impressed! I will say I had some difficulty with the hitting the ball, i think its a perspective thing.

I have also made a keep ball in air game, can't say it holds a candle to your amazing display, but its a different take. That's all I`ll say on that but it was nice to find a fellow volley game!

So yeah, great game good job guys!

Funnily enough, this is the first sports-themed game I've come across for the game jam. I had difficulty knowing which side of the court was me, since I thought I was on the right at first. I also had difficulty judging and hitting the ball, but after it was a good time.

This game is so adorable it's unhealthy. Took me a while to get used to hitting the ball as well, but I did enjoy how smooth it felt and the extra distractions as well.

The game style is very adorable! I love the character design and the variety that you can also see in the surrounding characters! It took me some time to figure out how the ball exactly works but all in all it was very fun.

The gameplay was cool but a bit too hard for me - I had trouble aligning correctly and never really used the dash successfully.

This is the best-looking entry that I've played so far. The game is fun and full of nice little quirky moments. It's quite easy and simple to pick up from the start, but it's also easy to sometimes misjudge where the ball is going to end up. Overall, I had a fun time so good job, guys!

Like most people have already said, it was a bit hard to get a handle on when and how to hit the ball. That and not having a faster restart button.

I am *TERRIBLE* at such game, but I love it. Music and graphics contribute to that bubbly cheerful mood, and you just keep wanting to try again. Great wooork!

Only thing is Z seemed a bit weird and too close to space bar for my own taste on a QWERTY keyboard.
PS : fullscreen in browser was very laggy (27"), but normal size was just perfect.
