this was fun! i liked the cute art style and the ambient music reminded me of OFF my only criticism is that maybe the spikes' colliders were a little too big, i found myself dying when only hitting the edge of them. normally platformers shrink their spikes' colliders a little, just to make it more fair overall i still liked this a lot.

You went really hard on levels haha I could finish it without too much problem but for some people would be so hard. Lovely art and for me, very good levels following the concept.
Wow, just wow. The cat's animations are so fluffy which is supported by his white-pink color scheme with the dot on the belly :smiley_cat: :heartpulse:. And all of that in contrast to the game's theme: horror :scream_cat: (This smiley has never had more fitting usage).
The music had a LOT of variation. that must took a while... but nothing compares to the animations in this game. :clap_tone1::clap_tone1::clap_tone1:
The cat: wow in general, plus the squash and stretch that is not in the pixel space is adding so much!
The ghosts: so sad, so cute :ghost: The ghoul: !!! what !!! that caught me offguard in the game.
Hi there ! Thanks for submitting your game to my stream (twitch.tv/drjavasaurus). My first reaction instantly was that this artwork is exceptional. Well picked out color palette ! Top notch. The controls are really nice and tight, the walljumping is satisfying. I will be playing more of this for sure !
Really incredible game!! The art and music create a beautiful and fitting atmosphere- I especially love the colors used, so effective!! The gameplay feels smooth, but sometimes I struggled with the spike hitboxes. Other than that the game felt so polished for such a short time. Really inspiring!!
This was a great game. The graphics were outstanding, your animations are so fluid and have a lot of character, and all the pixel art is quite good. The controls were really tight, though the spikes and character felt a bit big; I would hit spikes when I thought I shouldn't have at times. The atmosphere was also immersive. I think that as due to the pairing of the dim lighting and spooky music, and also choosing to have no music at parts. My favorite part was right before you found the key. I was tricked by the endless fall and became confused. Though, it was a pleasant surprise when I figured it out. I love bits like that in games.
I loved this game in general. Graphics, mood are excellent. I couldn't manage passing a level with spikes, though, I'm going to wait for a walkthrough video to see what happens in the end of the game.
This was so well done. I love the fact that you don't punish people who miss a jump too hard. The only two things I found frustrating were that left and right wasn't W,A,S,D and the jump button wasn't space. Other than that everything was fantastic. Loved the music, and the story line. That.... thing... in the hall was creepy but not too creepy. Well done.
Beautiful and atmospheric game with a really nice spooky vibe. Great challenging platforming action with really tight controls. Loved it and played it until the end.
The only criticism I can think of, is that I really would have liked to see w, a, s, d support for the game. I had to play the game crosshanded.
A very good and polished entry! It incorporated the theme well, without letting it become annoying. The platforming reminded me a lot of the game Celeste, which I love. I have to say, the graphics, animations and audio is amazing. Together they create a very good atmosphere. The platforming became really hard all of a sudden, and after a million tries I had to give up, but I certainly played for 15 minutes or so! Compliments :) Ps. I kind of felt like the hitbox on the spikes was too large and they were too easy to hit. The ghosts also felt a bit useless as they didn't respawn after dying. Anyway, good job guys!
Wow! That was an absolute joy to play through. I was not expecting such a well made unsettling horror game from the cover and title of this game. I think the best part was that I wasn't expecting it though, so well done on you guys! I kept playing through a few levels after I finished the game wondering if there was more to it, but I didn't see any changes so I closed it up. Overall, fantastic job.
wow, this was impressive! really good looking, i love the music and sounds. i was afraid there would be a jumpscare after the monster appeared, but instead i was just dipped entirely in the suspense! great stuff! .. i gave up at the last platforming bit tho, it was too hard for me. i'm happy someone posted a video playthrough tho because that fish looks yummy. good good stuff guys!
Gorgeous pixel graphics and very fitting music! The platforming difficulty ramped a bit too quickly and the hitboxes felt a bit too unforgiving, but the platforming felt tight. I wish the ending had had a bit more but I'm happy the cat got to eat. :)
a nice entry! I wanted maybe a bit more of a finale, but still was a nice story. The spike hitbox could have been a little more generous, mostly for those wall jumps. Lovely atmosphere and art and story telling.
This is one of the best entries i've seen at LD. Awesome loop twists and story make this platformer much better than "just another platformer". Good job, love the Graphics also.
I find the difficulty a bit too hard towards the end, but I'm not a big platformer fan. Those walls with pike on top and bottom are evil. Still, love the sound and the art is cute and solid ! Really good for jam !

Fantastic! I love the cat and the fish, makes me think of Happy the Cat. Aye! The wall jumping in the very last room was almost impossible because of the cat's rectangular collision, but I managed to clear it eventually. I love how getting hurt has almost no penalty! And I need to know what's up with the jumpscare monster in the pitch-black hallway!!! That really got me, I didn't expect a sudden jumpscare! I need to know more of the story.........
Too bad I'd never heard of your game until after the ratings period! I'll just rate now, 5/5 for everything.
