Fight through a sentient planet as it adapts to your skill as you loop through the same level over and over. It is always the same map, but the terrain and placement of enemies and items is altered to create a greater challenge.

Playtime:
Normal 5-10 minutes.
Speedrun - My best is 2:44:03. I'm sure someone can blow that out of the water.

MAJOR SELLING POINTS:
- You can destroy bullets by punching them.
- Killing enemies will refill health.
- You can ignore the princess at the end.
- Destroy the difficulty button to activate speed run mode (shows timer on level)

*NOTE* This is not a rage game. The enemies and obstacles are crazy, but your hero is crazy too. Game will be beatable without dying.

Controller Support enabled and encouraged!

Nice game,it's very hard for me, but I find that you can get stuck in the wall or shoot from behind walls

So you're stuck in a loop of having to complete the same level over and over again. Except each time the level is completely different. So not really a loop then...

Good job on gameplay, graphics, sound, the whole thing; it's fun. Theme is verrrrrrry tenuous though.

It's pretty fun and looks good! I think the theme is a bit of a stretch but overall is has a lot of content for a short period of time. I also discovered that you can kill enemies by jumping over them ;)

9:07:11, pretty entertaining although as previosly mentioned, the loop element was a bit loose, the artwork, gameplay and sudden bullet hell, good game overall.

To everyone who has commented so far: Thanks so much for playing my game! This is my first Ludum Dare and I’m happy that everyone is being so kind and respectful.

I looked at the rules and it allowed for bug fixes, so I think I took care of the teleportation collision bug and reuploaded. So that’s being noted here!

Regarding the theme: it definitely made more sense in my head when I was planning the game. In practice, it was just way more fun with a varied terrain, though the levels all take up the same space, same start and same end.

Bug report: I managed to skip a section by going through the wall:

Went from the left side of that wall to the right side.

This game is fantastic!

The platforming feels very tight and the combat is a lot of fun. Not too difficult but in a very fun way.
That last level was insanity though! haha.

Great graphics and music to go along with it too.

Nice game and very interesting idea, the controls are feeling good but sadly I was stuck, not in a loop, but in a wall in the compo level (maybe I dashed too much)
Nonetheless I liked the game and the story, good work !

It was fun, I did not know what to do at the end of the level and just stood there for a while until I realized I had to attack that giant thing in the corner xD

Also as many have already mentioned, my gameplay was ended abruptly due to the fact I got stuck in a wall :P

This is a really well designed game with excellent audio and a lot of fun to be had. I like how beating enemies restores health, rewarding aggressive play. It is a bit of a shame that the theme is only expressed superficially, as the reason why there are multiple levels. Really, really fun game though, nice job.

Nice art. It's fun and has good feedback and juice. Without the screen shake, it wouldn't be as fun.

I got stuck in the walls and it kept going to the right until it stopped at the right most part.

Awesome game, finished it in 8.19. Last few modes were a challenge because the bullets wouldn't let me descend down the level.

Wow wow wow! the controls were simple and executed perfectly, the player felt awesome to control. I thought the game was a bit easy until I met the 100,000,000,000 enemies on hard mode when I missed a teardrop. Thats was like .... OW F! haha. Well done!
