About

Infinite Racer is a driving game where you have to survive in an ∞-shaped arena!
There are three arenas (with different cars) for you to try.

To get rid of the boss, you need to hit them from behind! If you use the nitro before hitting them from behind you will not be damaged ;) There might also be alternative ways to skip the boss phase :spy:

Controls

- `LEFT / RIGHT ARROWS`: move closer / further from the center (try to get used to it!)
- `SPACE, UP ARROW`: nitro (if you don't have enough nitro you can't trigger the boost)
- `X, DOWN ARROW`: brake (each circuit has a minimum speed, so you can't brake continuously)
- `M`: mute
- `ESC`: pause

Bonuses

- Green bonus: fills the nitro bar
- Yellow bonus: makes you faster
- Red malus (?): makes you slower

good graphics nice background music and audio overall and the gameplay feels solid I also like that you used java for the game instead of the classical game engines that everyone uses that adds a lot to your entry gj the cars look gorgeous btw congratz to the artist/s

good tune and graphics but i found the size of cars in relation to the track too big. made it very difficult. that said it was still pretty fun. thanks for making it.

The music and graphics look really good for a jam game. The side movement felt a bit too limited tho.

High score: 000183928! Nice game, reminds me of a 2d Grand Turismo/burnout 3. I noticed that the high scores (per car) are saved out even after quitting the game, which is a really nice little piece of polish that you don't often see in a game jam!

Audio and Art is really great in this game.

This was really fun! All of the graphics seemed really, really polished! As other have said the idea is super innovative too, with a winding infinity loop. Some improvements could be better collision animations and maybe something to prevent you from going way out of the circle. Awesome work! :)

It took me a while to get the weird controls, but when I did it was pretty fun overall! Very fast and kinda hard but it was addictive. Good job!

Awesome music !! really loved the mood of the game :-)
A bit of Hotline Miami.
The concept is cool, but maybe the loops could be a bit bigger.
