I expected spaceship to be restricted to the spiral, but instead it floated freely and was difficult to figure out how to control it. Sounds are nice. But shooting and the controls are kinda odd.
Mac version: For this you have to follow a few steps (at least on Mac Catalina) 1. Make a new folder 2. copy the zip into that folder 3. Unzip the app 4. rename the folder to be "SpaceSpiral.app" or something like that with .app at the end.
I got it running but its completely different than the HTML5 game which I couldn't figure it out either.
Web version: Unfortunately I couldn't figure this out but I like the spiral and I'm glad you submitted a game to the Ludum Dare! Thanks!
