In this metroidvania platformer, a scientist builds a time-travelling portal, but its testing goes wrong and his assistant ends up in a distopian future with different time laws, but still in the laboratory. The scientist has managed to create portals in this dimension to help his assistant, but only one of them is the way back home, the rest just lead back to where he appeared. Now he must search and use the scientist's gadgets to find the way to return home.
Cool concept, its like a short metroidvania. I didn't realize that the purple bushes were dangerous at first and it's a bit confusing how you turn invisible when you die. But otherwise a solid entry.
That last section of the game felt a bit cruel, I finally made it with 7 seconds left after a lot of failures due to the dash not working. I think there is some kind of hidden cool-down but it was really hard to know when it can be used again. Some kind of indicator (maybe the item or the character flashing) would have been nice.
Other than that it was a neat maze to figure out and all the upgrades felt meaningful!
The polish here is high and I loved the graphics and sounds and controls. I probably would have enjoyed it more if the levels were more forgiving because as is I couldnt make any real progress. I still appreciate that you made it. Thank you!
