TowerStuck

Time-Looping Tower Defense: https://illegalrazer.itch.io/towerstuck
Elevator pitch:
An endless war. Many enemies. Infinite waves. One man looping through the same battle over and over again until he lives the day enough times to rise victorious. Defend the goal with a myriad of powerful turrets to win once and for all.
Controls:
Enter - Make tower loop the actions you performed with it
How to play:
At the beginning of each loop you start by placing a tower. You can then shoot at the enemies using your mouse. You can also set your tower to loop everything you've done so far by hitting enter. Mana gained through killing enemies lets you buy more powerful towers.
Towers:
Crossbow Tower - As you'd probably expect, it shoots arrows. I mean, it's cool and all, and everyone needs to start somewhere, but everyone has one of these. Crossbow towers are so last year.
Tower O' Slime - She'll shoot a slime that slows enemies. I don't actually know if it's a she, but know I for a fact it's sentient. Sometimes I catch it... looking at me *shivers*
Infernal Tower - Now we're talking! This is what the cavemen intended when they sought the first flame. this tower spits fire like he's Drake, buys Gucci like it's fake, and makes the ladies do a double take.
Zapper - Thor S'more. This tower shoots a massive arc of electricity in a straight line so strong that even the lizard people living near the earth's core taste metal.

The variety of items you can deploy is good too. That sound effect for the Tower o' Slime though... it's a little grating.
The subtle parallax when moving the mouse is a nice touch - feels good just to move around the board!
Expect that, it's really well made gg.
The recording UI could be a bit clearer and being able to rerecord would be nice. Also it would be nice if the game was faster paced or had a speedup button.
I realised after a few minutes that my towers could break eachother. Some health/damage indicator on them could probably make that clear, as I was very confused at first why I had fewer towers than I had placed.
The slime and fire towers weren't very useful, but I guess tower defense games take a while to balance properly, so I won't expect that much from a jam game. I'm not sure the zappers were really that useful either, but they're cool enough to use anyway.
The best strategy seemed to be just placing a bunch of towers facing straight paths and making them shoot only on that path. With that in mind, the actual gameplay wasn't that much more different than a regular tower defence game, except towers can now only shoot in one direction. Just recording actions and having them loop didn't seem to work reliably enough to do anything fancy, so maybe something more needs to happen to make those loops consistently have the same effect on each wave, but I'm not sure what that would be.
