DESCRIPTION

Dive down on your trusted Blue Submarine to reach the highest depth! Defeat Evil Submarines and some Evil Fish on the way, using Friendly Fishes and some other tools! Now imagine inventory, some items, upgrade system, then imagine story, and there you go - that's the Blue Submarine game!... except for the imaginary part.

HOW TO PLAY

Move your ship deeper and deeper, avoiding OR defeating Evil Submarines. You can also move other Friendly fishes or some helpful items, like Sea Mines or Skill Chests.
Defeating every enemy grands experience, which you can spend on increasing your stats.
Let's see who can get deeper!!

This game is awesome! like some sort of card game with how stats work, crossed between the strategy of trying to go deeper without dying, and watching out for the encroching top screen. I sincerely think this is the best game I've played so far, seems so original.

Great job! Really innovative with the card interactions, the systems interact really well together. Would be great to see some more power ups or something if you continued to build on it because I'd love to play more! Lovely mood, great overall submission.

Took me a bit to get the hang of it but once I did I really enjoyed it! Congrats you should keep building on it the idea really works great, I could see this game being among the top scored of the jam

What a crackingly original and good game! Loved the art, sound and animations. The turn based card mechanic is so simple but pleasing to use. You may have a winner on your hands!

At first while playing it felt like there was more lucky RNG then skill needed to go deeper, but after playing for half an hour I became better and better every run. I'm amazed by how you, even though you're randomly generating each run (guess), still keep skill and good thinking work such an important factor for succeeding in the game!

That was quite fun! I enjoyed the music and the general design of the game. Cell-shaded graphics is very cute, especially the submarine itself.

Per your suggestion, I imagined the story :grin:. It's full of action and heartbreak. Really powerful stuff.

I will admit, I tried to drag my card into another card quite a few times to try to attack again before I realized that it won't work :laughing: The only wish I have is the option to control the movement with WSAD or Arrow Keys instead of a mouse - would be more comfortable in my opinion.

This is a really unique idea and well executed. It's a bit frustrating when you reach a point where you just don't have enough health to really progress. But that's probably just me being bad at games. I've never really seen a game like this and I think it's very well made. Good work!

Very interesting game, I found that if you keep boosting your attack, you can always kill the monster in one hit. Maybe add some monsters with super high blood so that players have to kill them multiple times. Anyway, as a submarine card game, the animations are very smooth.

Love the originality! I had a hard time working out that I was supposed to drag the cards and not move, given there were arrows on screen. Also I muted the volume and was never able to get it to come back. Fixed on restarting, other than that great job!
