Boris with a crazy dream

The interactive tutorial was well executed. Good sound, kudos for providing voice acting. I think there was some influence from Among Us? Wish it was longer though. Bruh!

neat little platformer. I like how you guided the player on each button/interaction while also building a story/world. great work

Jumping and moving didn't feel natural. Like i would move and try to jump and the character wouldnt jump. I like the sense of humor in the game. On screen tutorials were good. the bruh cracked me up

I managed to die in the bunker, and got a "bruh" :) Great art!

Gorgeously animated character, full of energy. You are on the right track with graphics and atmosphere in general. I couldn't go past the first underground scene though (reaching the wires without "bruh" dying). After few attempts I clicked Exit instead of Restart by accident, and then when I went into back underground the controls stopped working. Any tips? (presuming there is a puzzle to solve)

That art is really nice! I think you hold the player's hand a little bit too much though. Rather than telling me what to do I'd love some type of visual confirmation (for example, electricity in the water, but once I cut the wire, the electricity disappears). I liked it though!

The graphics and music are amazing! Sad is a bit on the short end. I think you can also tone down the guiding and let players explore a bit for themselves.

This game was done by an artist and it shows. the game itself had a few bugs in it but what is showcased well here is the art and sound. Both done by the user for the Jam. they would certainly make a good pairing with a programmer for the next LD to make a decent Pixel game!

The art is absolutely incredible, the portraits are amazing. Simple game with a couple among us style mini games. Overall very impressive for a single person to make all of this in just a couple days!

All the "art stuff" (music and graphics) is beautiful! The only thing I think is a little weird is how the pixel art has many different resolutions, but I guess that it is a style decision. The gameplay is not really that interesting however... There is just not a lot to do, but this game is still really nice, it's pretty chill.

The tutorial is very instructive, the gameplay is pleasant, really really liked it. Oh, and the pixel art is just beautiful! Loved the main character visuals and the environment. I would only change the music for something more in sync with the vibes of the game. Nice to see another Construct 3 game devs around here! Congrats to the team.

Visuals are great, especially the outdoors backround and the cabin and the portraits, and the explosion is really well animated!
Only complaint here is that the character has different pixel dimensions, personally I think it looks a lot better when all the pixels are of the same size.

One bug I found is that one playtrough I was stuck on the moving elevator after going down into the bunker from outside.

Oh, that was very short. I was very surprised when I fixed the oxygen, and it just ended :laughing: There is really not much to say about the gameplay itself, as there is so little of it. However, jumping did feel well-designed - not too floaty, not too high, responsive. So that is already a good platformer start.

I really liked the environment art and the portrait, nicely done. I think the main character could use a bit more detailing, as he looked "underdone" in comparison to the environment. Music is pleasant and ponderous.

This is the beginning for a really nice game! I really liked the graphics and the music! The controls felt just right! Great job!

Okay, the game is pretty short, but I think that was not the focus here.

The art and sound however is simply great! And what little game there is, is pretty good as well.

The game is very interesting, the graphics and music are great, the game mechanics are great fun, I don't regret my time spent with him.

Yeah I echo what was said, this was an intriguing, cozy adventure style game with exceptional art, animation, and style. I just want more!

As everyone has said before, the art is great, but watch out for the pixel resolution, it kind of breaks the façade when you mix different pixel sizes in the same game. That being said, the ambience holds up very well with the music, and that little delay after you jump into the bunker.

I admire the voice acting, too, and the death sound cracked me up.

But the game is a bit tiny and with all due respect seems a bit unfinished. Like, Boris has a weird dream, goes to his flooded bunker, then what? Was it just a dream? Is he stuck in his bunker that has no stairs for when he runs out of power for the elevator? Did the bunker work? Even a textual ending with a bit of closure would have been interesting.

As a test of your art skills I would say this was very successful! There are some inconsistency issues with pixel resolution (if that is the right word), but the overall look is great with some very nice animation.

I wish there was a little more game here as I would love to explore your world.
