Code-X is a roguelite where you have no weapons of your own: instead, you are a mobile power source that can deploy other drones to attack in your place. As you head deeper and deeper into a procedurally generated underground facility, you'll need to carefully manage your energy levels to make the most of the drones you find, which attack in predictable, simplistic patterns.
You are a specialized power supply drone from a deep underground military installation. Some of the other drones have gone haywire, attacking the facility's personnel. While you have no attacks of your own, you can carry and deploy other drones as long as you have their schematics and enough power to spare. Use your ability to find and destroy all the rogue supervisor drones in the lower levels of the facility before the surface is overrun!

Code-X is written in TypeScript in a little over 2000 lines of code. It uses the Phaser 3 HTML5 game framework for rendering, audio, and input, along with some custom code patterns for managing entities and manipulating tilemaps. Aesprite was used to create all of the game's artwork, along with Tiled to lay out the rooms which the game splices together to generate the in-game levels.
