This is our first time participating in Ludum Dare!

This game is a quest to create a deeper and deeper pizza. By increasing your workforce, upgrading your equipment, and doing a lot of clicking-and-dragging, you CAN create the deepest dish pizza.

We are open to feedback and comments both about the gameplay and the source code :)

(The game might lack a lot of polish, but it was so fun to participate!)

It was rather hard to figure out what to do. Also the checkerboard pattern was very distracting.

Once I understood what I was doing, it was pretty fun! I liked the incremental nature of the gameplay loop, and the premise of the game (as well as your take on the theme) was hilariously clever.

There were times where I had to wait out the rest of the day because I ran out of ingredients. I would suggest adding an "end day" button, or allowing you to purchase ingredients from the store at ANY time, but maybe at a higher price to encourage planning ahead.

As a big fan of food-preparing games, I enjoyed this a lot. It's no Burger Shop 2, though.
