Nice Game!

I really enjoyed the feel of this game, at first I didnt want to hurt the onion because it was cute and made sad sounds when I did. but then it started to hurt and well....eventually I failed but by that time I was kinda bored. I enjoyed the art though the vision thing got annoying because it covered the entire screen, maybe had it just covered a small portion of the screen? anyways I like the game and its well made for 48 hrs

I actually kind of like how everything gets blurred out, after a while I couldn't read the cards which was very realistic! Music was cute too. I only wish there was a little more depth to the gameplay, but still a fun game! great job :D

Hahaha really vool game ! You achieved to make a funny game match with a card gameplay AND the "Deeper and Deeper" theme. Maybe consider ading a cart that remove temporarly the blurr effect ? And also why not making the deck of card randomize each round ? That would be cool :) The game is great in itself, and the music and the "aouch" sound effect are fun and cool ! Well done !

A weird and funny little game. The card game is simple and pretty fun, but perhaps a bit too simple. Overall a fun little jam game. Well done.

Hmmm... I enjoyed this beautiful game, music, graphics and gameplay all at the very good level for game jam, but variety.. It's starts getting boring after 5 min of playing. But if u finalize game and add more enemies and attacks, it will be perfect.

Its soooo good, cute game, i see the hard work in it, hopefully i founded a imbalanced tactick stack 3x + 2x cards and copy card and deal 2 damage and it instantly kills the onion. GJ!

One of the more creative uses of the theme. Despite the gameplay being simple it digs quite a bit of fun from it. The vision getting blurry is a nice touch and it was fun trying to remember what each card did when I wasn't able to read them. Very cool!

Nice one! Small and concise! Liked the combos, would really loved it if there was a damage calculator to get a better hang on the system.

@kudneus the best combo we found was doing 486 damage in one attack, the 5th level (3rd with all slots unlocked) is made for that combo but we did not want to make the game too hard for people who would not find it from the start so that's why there are 2 enemies you can one shot

I liked it! I took too much damage at one point and the game became unplayable, would be nice if defensive moves also reduced the blur. I love the concept!

Wow! Amazing idea! And it's cool game mechanic to make combos using copies and multiplyers! I think it could be an interesting RPG!

so this would not even occur to me in a dream to peel an onion on the topic of deeper and deeper. Cool idea. The game is easy to understand and the effect of blurred vision adds to the icing on the cake. Very good, I rate it positively.

Amazing take on the team, loved the idea and the crying effect. The blurriness might be a bit too much though in the end game. Overall, awesome mood and implementation. The cards functionality was a bit confusing but that might be due to me being inexperienced at card games. Great job overall!

This is pretty good! The blur effect kind of hurts my eyes a bit but it is a very good concept. Maybe if you found a less, harsh way to blur things? Anyway it was fun!

The onion's attack being blurr effect is hilarious and cute! It also hurts my eye and it encourages you to find the best combo. Nice!

That was cute :v, the idea was well done, but the onion damage looks a bit low, you can rush with damage only until finish the game.

Nice game and really original concept! The art and music are really nice too! The only thing was that the blur was kinda too harsh but I guess that's how it is when you cut an onion IRL lol! good job!

I'm very impressed with the creativity to turn a common cooking action into a card game. Looking through the rest of the comments I see that I don't have any new feedback, but I can at least say well done team! ^_^

Very nice idea, it was really polished, but sometimes it looked like effects weren't working.. then i realized that the onion had a shield too.. maybe uou should have told us lol

First card game ive seen! Really cool sort of puzzle style card game! And difficult as well! Cute style and music! Had a bit of a weird bug when i restarted the game i didnt get my cards back but then i restarted again and they were back!

After 3 attacks, you stop distinguishing cards. But it looks like a lot of fun. In my opinion, it is worth adding a little variability in the stages

This was cute and enjoyable. Good job on the game. I like the art style, so some sort of animation on the onion when it attacks or defends would add to the experience.

Again overall well done, especially with the meta effect of the screen blurring. That was interesting.
