Down to Goblin Town
Can you guide two adventurous polar bears on their mission to reach Goblin Town in a minecart?
Made together with my two kids, Arthur and Caspar (aged 7 & 5). They did all the design, artwork, sounds and text themselves and the eldest also helped with the coding. Made using Construct 3, Audacity, pencils and paper!

(Sound recommended!)
CONTROLS:
Left/right arrows to move.
Space to duck the goblin arrows.
Fill the progress bar in the top left to get all the way to Goblin town!
Please be aware that you can't move while ducking or while passing under a gate.

Hih, I smiled when playing this. It is so cute and the clouds actually make it challenging at the end as I could not see the stones anymore. I love how you did this with your kids, they must be proud of them selves :smile:

This is so adorable. I had a lot of fun playing it. There was enough challenge to keep me engaged and I think it was the perfect length. Loved the voice acting, it had me laughing :smile:

That is a great piece of work. I loved the sounds. Simple but fun gameplay, only the ducking was a bit weird when going under the gates.

That's so adorable, I can't wait until the first Game Jam with our daughter!
The game is simple and easy to learn, I had fun playing it and I enjoyed the graphics and the animation of the characters (which is subtle, but it adds to the overall look and feel and is definitely worth the effort!)

That was a lovely experience. There are some good mechanics here, like clouds that obscure the view of your mine cart, or the gates that prevent you from moving. The voice overs are brilliant. Congratulations and thanks for making me smile.

This is thoroughly charming! The unconventional graphics and sound actually give it a really cohesive style, and the movement of the images does a lot without needing actual animated sprites. It gets across everything it needs to very clearly, and the difficulty feels just about right: easy to start with, then fairly frantic towards the end (I, uh, didn't quite make it to Goblin Town myself).

So great to see that you made this with your kids! I'd call it family quality time for sure! Nice to see some great minds being fed with creativity at such a young age. My experience was very fun: loved the artstyle and voice acting. Oh, and I arrived at Goblin Town, it's lovely!
In future though I would recommend using WASD controls as trying to duck scrolls my page down & clicking into the game didn't seem to stop that (Opera browser).
