Fun game, excellent idea

Hilarious concept, the fish art really adds to it. The meaty slap sound is sastisfying.

I slapped some fish, and I don't regret it for a moment. Good job.

This was funny. I have no idea how the slapping works (who is doing the slapping? The worm? How does he reach?) but it was a nice balance between avoidance and slapping.

I think the hitboxes are off for this kind of precision game. I was eaten by a fish that I swear was a few pixels away from me. Not a huge deal, but I think you could increase the size of the main character, make the main character's hitbot smaller than the graphic, and increase the hitbox of the pickups larger than the graphic to compensate for the smaller player hitbox. Then getting the items is a little easier (which is satisfying) and you can skirt your way past the fish without dying (which is also satisfying)

Sometimes the small hit boxes made it hard to slap a quick moving fish

Gameplay was simple, but effective and fun. I liked the slapping sound a lot. The art was pretty goofy, but fit the tone of the game quite well. I think my favorite part is that the cursor is a little hand that 'slaps' when you click.

It seems though that I can have Walter Wormington move offscreen and never be attacked by any fish there. Adding some boundaries to the game would pervent me and others from cheating. Overall a nice simple and funny game.

The slapping fish sound coupled with the 2 frame animation of hand slappage produces infinite LOL's. Great job!

I had a lot of fun with this one! I like the fish slapping sound effect, ha! There really isn't much too the game, but for a game made within 48 hours, it gets the job done.
