I think this is the first game I've played with any sort of narration, so that's pretty cool.
I wasn't entirely sure if I was playing correctly, the page mentions it's "buggy" (btw was that a pun?), the last screen I played was the same as the first.
I couldn't play a second time as it seems the game loses focus, and my inputs affect the page instead of the game.

I enjoyed this thoughtful reflection on a caterpillar's life. It felt a bit like an interactive picture book, and I loved the narration and sprite work. The bugs (heh) were unfortunate but seem like stuff that can be ironed out after the jam. I would've loved to see more interactions with the caterpillar/butterfly moving down the tree, right now it just feels a bit like a cursor and not part of the scene, if that makes sense. Very cute idea!

That was a cute story! I liked how the character changed into a butterfly between scenes. The story itself was well composed, and the game itself kind of reminded me of those children's adventure games ala Freddie Fish. Giving the player a bit more interaction would be a nice improvement (maybe having to catch leaves to progress the story, or something like that) but overall it was a relaxing game to play before going to sleep :)

ABSOLUTELY THE CUTEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED, but i think the game is a bit broken. You can spam spacebar to progress through the dialogues and skip the entire game.

Creative idea and the voice acting is really nice! I ran into a crash in the scene with the cocoon but restarted and managed to finish it. Reminded me a bit of a storybook I had when I was really young - The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's a unique format for a game for sure.

Very moodful piece, an interactive tale more than a game - or maybe a (not walking but) caterpillar simulator? Either way, I liked it, and with voiceover too, that felt complete. And deep, which also fits the jams theme. :slight_smile: Great entry! :thumbsup:

It had a children's storybook kind of vibe which is a really neat. Game also had a fun and creative take on the theme, and I'm impressed with the voice acting! Excellent job!
