Grotto Go Fast takes you deeper and deeper thru an 8 track "underground" racing circuit! Each track increases in difficulty as you race along narrow ledges, dodge boulders, oil slicks, spikes, and stalactites.

Controls - Keyboard or Gamepad
Keyboard - W to accelerate, S to brake, A/D to steer.
Gamepad - B to accelerate, X to brake, L/R d-pad to steer.

Slow and steady wins the race. 8:25. Idk if the last level is messed up but it spawned me at the exit. Was fluid and felt good to drive around.

It definitely has that SNES classic feel! The art + sfx are spot on for that and, altho I did like it, the music seemed to go away each time after my first crash. The gameplay feels true to the style though and is genuinely pretty challenging. I'm not so great at these types of games, but I felt motivated to keep trying.

Top notch art/sound design. Game is both fun and challenging. It would be interesting to see how fast you could go to get through all these levels! Awesome work :)

Nice throwback to some classic gameplay. Really liked that the track edge was pretty forgiving to crashes. Quite satisfying sounds, and liked how the music ramped up toward the end of the track.

Level transitions are a bit too long, and a bit more forgiving hitboxes would be nice, other than that this game is a total banger
