A simple platformer game where you are a minion guard of a dungeon, warning the boss of heroes entering. There are 5 levels, each with a coin. Can you get them all and warn the boss?

I worked on this jam solo as a way to practice and improve what I could do with a short amount of time. I'm pretty happy with the result and feel its small scope helped me accomplish it. All the pixel art was done by me. I've never done a platformer like this before and enjoyed making it. I look forward to hearing your feedback and thanks for playing

Really fun game. Great pixel art. I liked the smooth camera follow. Those spikes were ruthless! Awesome LD entry :thumbsup:

Hey! I loved the ambience you did with the music and the graphic style. Really wrapped the game. I felt it was a little bit too punishing to make the effort to get a coin, and then die without it having any practical effect on the game (like a + life or so). Also didn`t manage to get past lvl 4 :p

Stuck on the wall sometimes, maybe reconfigure the physics material for character?
Good game though, a little bit hard to control the height of jumping.

I loved the little goblin protagonist.

Levels were interesting and the coin side-quest added nice option challenge. It was a little frustrating to be sent all the way back to the start on every death. It might be a little more enjoyable if they only set you back to the start of the room.

I really like the concept of having a limit on defeating the level, makes a simple platformer much more challenging and you really have to watch your step not doing any wrong moves.
Also naming every level beforehand is a cool introduction.

I think the character movement could've been tighter for more precision during platforming, but other than that, good job on this! The art looks great :)

Very nice art and overall presentation! The only issues I got is that sometimes you get stuck to the platform instead of jumping on it or sometimes you can slide off the platform you are already on. The control is a bit too sensitive, I guess, but it doesn't take much from the game.

Love the story.
It is well presented and sets a nice mood.
The jumping was a bit too floaty, and restarting right from the beginning when you die was a bit brutal.
It would have been nice to be able to skip the transitions though considering how many times I had to wait though them.

This is a nice little game c: It's a bit frustrating to die at the end and get sent back to the beginning of the level, but the game is plenty beatable even with that. Good choice in music, too, it really brings everything together.

Fun platformer. The controls felt slightly off but once I got the hang of it it was pretty fun. Good entry!

The music is cool but I couldn't get past Level 2.

The timer means that the player never starts in a safe zone (or has one) and it's too easy to get stuck on a wall while jumping, which should be impossible.

Then to restart the game I have to wait a bunch and take my hands off the keyboard to click the mouse.

The graphics are nice. The game has good elements, just needed more polish to make it easier to stay engaged.

jump facing wall ,you cant fall down ,that is a bug, and each time I die ,I need restart from level one makes me feel not well:smile:

Good job! "The spike room" ahah we know what we will face! This game is hard, punishing, but hey, I love this! I liked the audio which gives a good athmosphere. The only thing I had a hard time with was the controls, it's hard to jump precisely and sometimes you get stuck on a wall. I liked the creepy frame with the blinking eyes and the hidden coins :))

It's a very atmospheric game! I like the mood and audio and the spritework is great too!
I couldnt finish it, sadly. There are levels that feel very unpredictable and restarting after every death made it very frustrating. :(
