W to jump, A to go left, and D to go right. Click and hold to fire a harpoon. When it lands, you will be pulled toward it. Harpoon enemies to kill them.

Lost motivation after getting the gameplay working, so I decided to just upload as-is.

you've got a compelling concept here, with some more work this could be really good. if you do choose to continue work, i think it would be nice if you could release your harpoon early while it is pulling you in? that could make it almost like a fun underwater spider-man game :)

I could see this growing into something really fun, especially if you have a character that holds a harpoon gun and then takes down their enemies after he/she gets pulled towards them.
