The ragdoll hat was really funny (would love to vote it in humor category) and the graphics were amazing. However, there are still some improvements to be done like the camera sometimes clipping through the wall or the lower levels being seen from the lower region of the level. Really thrilled to see how this ends up in 9 and a half hours.
A pretty interesting idea for a game. I had a hard time hitting the enemies and relied on getting lucky most of the time. Did you create all of the assets yourself? Really impressive stuff. I think the game has a lot of potential well done.
Great work with this one! I agree that the controls felt a bit odd, mostly due to the camera angle not matching the way the character was moving. I like the different spell books, but since it wasn't really explained in game it was somewhat confusing. Other than that and a few bugs, it was an enjoyable experience! Good work!
Super fun game! I was a bit confused by how to change spells but once you get the hang of it blasting vermin is epic fun. Once you max out all spells it seems you are stuck with endlessly respawning enemies.
I love the floppy hat!!! Its really cool to see such a detailed model in a jam and these effects are great looking. I would love to see a wider range of cool effects, they just look so cool. Great job.
Wow, amazing work, especially for a two members team °o°
I like the idea of the reversed "climb the wizard tower" ! When it reached level 5 my lighting spell used to work, maybe there is something I haven't fully understood :(
+1 for the hat ragdoll & the destructible props, I felt like Radagast destroying the basement to break free xD
I found it fun, if tedious after a while. The graphics were amazing, with the exception of the mages hat spasming. The monsters have a very cool design.
Date: 26.04 11:00 pm GMT +3 - Fixed bug that allowed players to pickup spells above 4th lvl by not picking up "free books" after clearing level (because books pickup ability was not updating for "free books", now it updates after every book pickup) - Now winning text makes more sense
Date: 27.04 1:30 am GMT +3 - Added smooth music transition between battle and shop music - Fixed book prices after leaving 2 levels of "free books", now "free books" are always free - Fixed equipped spells drag and drop (previously dragging spell from one cast spell slot to the other bugged one of the equipped spells) - Fixed bug that allowed player to cast spells one level deeper by clicking "outside level"
I like the visuals, it looks nice also audio is choosen very well, it adds drama to the game. However, I didn't like the gameplay, on level 4 or 5 I was so bored that decided to close the app.
@mero It is not clear what kind of skills, how it works and why they are needed at all. The character gets stuck in every object. Probably all the time was spent on VFX by the way it lags very much even on my powerful PC. I can't even figure out what skill I took
@mero why would you spam with revolvers in my game? :D "I have no idea why would you do that, play the game dont look for gaps in the walls?" - just running away from my enemies
@maybeagoose performance is good, it works in around 500FPS in editor on gtx1080ti, its also smooth on gtx1660 and it somehow works even on my phone Poco X3 in 20FPS. Next thing, ``all the time was spent on VFX`` imagine I spend almost 38h coding stuff and fixing bugs during Jam. So please stop making negative comments here, becouse one of team member commented on your game and now you need to come here to make comments focused on everything that is bad in the game and ignoring the fact that other team members also spend time making this game.
Great game! Congrats on the art and sound, really nice. The controlls feel a bit off, but manageable with a little practice! Great job!

Wow, that is some crazy amount of work for 72 hours! Great spells, animations, VFX, music, that make for some epic combat. (Perhaps a bit too many enemies at the end, and it gets a bit repetitive.) I'm impressed. Congrats! :D
The graphics are top notch! With more time and polish this could be a really addicting game. For example, currently enemies just spawn in front of you and you barely have time to react. Increasing the level size a bit and spawning all enemies at once, so you can see them, would allow for a more tactical gameplay. Allowing to move around while casting (or shortening casting time) would increase the action.
Its cool despite its flaws. The spells look cool, and the background music is nice too. It's just too easy to cheese, just stand in a corner and spam your two abilities at the same time, offscreen enemies wont even attack. Also im missing some sort of punishment for dying, would be fine with a permadeath mode. In the context of a gamejam this is top notch stuff right here. (oh also i had some fps stutters for about the first 20 seconds, which is a little odd)
Really like the assets and hat physics (even though its wonky as hell :D). I think the controls should be relative to the camera and now the player - it felt weird.
Yep, the hat is totally the best character in the game! Jokes aside, the game is great and entertaining. Very impressive work on the assets and particle effects, congratulations! I had so much fun playing it!
I just watched it again and I sound a bit over critical.
I just want to reiterate I am totally amazed by the game! Even with the flaws I mention this is still one of the better games I played! It just overall has this unfinished feel and I think with your team's talent, if you had opted to make a simpler, more polished game you could have been a real contender for some of the top spots!

i enabled the humor category cuz why not!
Also... Seeing all the levels below i think would be a part of experience to strees the "deeperness" of the map :)
Also i have no idea how to solve camera cliping when player desends downwards :? we gotta live with it :D
Yes I created Grahpics on the JAM
Only oursourced things are animations for the main character.
Models for character,
models for enemies,
models for world elements,
effects,
sounds,
music,
everything is made on the Jam
@tamino-laub
thanks!
I will add an explenation to the description here!

In our free time we are working on our more developed game diablo like hack and slash we're going to stay focus on that for some time
