You are a very cutesy miner trying too hard to avoid bats and poops, while you fall in a abandoned mine. Truth been told this game is infested with bugs! Like... Too many bugs. Still, it is my very first attempt at game developer after a while and I am proud with my own self. But in all seriousness... I am very burn out, I need some rest before fix this guy later.

All the sprite work and animations were also done by me! Aseprite rocks!

Good job on finishing and submitting something, you get that rest! The movement feels really good and responsive, artwork was readable and I liked the little hurt/donk animation the miner gets when you bump into the side of the walls. A title screen and some music/sfx would have been nice but time is always short. Well done!

Nice job for a first attempt! It takes work to make scrolling and jumping etc going. And ya Aseprite is great! Good job with the sprites.

Welcome to gamedev! The spritework is pretty good. Maybe a sound effect or visual indicator would help to know where enemies are coming from but other than that not bad.
