Here's my game. It's "finished" but it's not. I was planning on adding a shop to upgrade yourself and to have the previous score visible but I ran out of time. Read the instructions and play it on the itch.io page
This is one of the "easy to learn, hard to master" games! It's simple, but it works It would be nice to have some control during attacks Also, is there an ending?
Nice, your core loop is an interesting base that could become a really good game! Easy to learn, the mechanics are clear but for now all the result is still rough. Feedbacks, graphics, audio could be better with more layers and create an enjoyable experience. But for a jam, it's great work!
Fun game! I played this for a good bit more than I expected to, and the idea was neat. A little bit of feedback that I would like to give is to make the hits a bit more satisfying(maybe with screen shake and all that kaboodle), and maybe some variations to the weapon as well as enemies. The core idea around this game is solid, so with a bit more polish and content, it would become a wonderful time sinker game perhaps on mobile or more.
Nice progression to the game. I like the variance in enemies and behaviour. This was a good entry :) I'd recommend adding some game juice for some extra oomph (particles/screenshake etc). There's a good video on "Game juice" you can find on youtube

It took me a while to understand how to get started. Bu once I did, I had fun!
Fun game. I liked the graphics style. The different types of critters, their movement and health indicators, gave it a nice variety. If you'd been able to add a background sound to it too, that'd make it even better. I played it more than I realized, ha!

Some checkmarks or level differentiation would help as you pointed out, maybe thats where your shop mechanic would come in.
The art and sound was decent, would love to have a bit of background music.
Nice job!
