A game about a man going deeper and deeper into madness...
A narrative-platformer with a bit of fight and a pretty hard enigma in the middle.

ZQSD/WASD/Arrows to move (left joystick on xbox pad), Space to jump (A on xbox pad), A/left-click to use hammer when you'll have it (X on xbox pad), E to interact (Y on xbox pad) and Esc to quit game.

Note that it's not a very realistic approach, it's more base on the fantasy and the fictions about mad characterS than the real life disease (which might be a good idea to work on, but none of us has the knowledge to do a good representation of real-life madness).

Updates (05/05/2021) :
- Move a bit some platforms
- Debug the baby launch on the final bosses (it's no longer threw at max speed)
- Add checkpoint on all rooms, not only on some specific ones
- Change jump animation and float feel value

The game feels kinda spooky with that music which I loved , The puzzle part is a bit confusing but great work and I hope you don't make that dog die again in another jam :P

A really quite frightening game indeed. Great pixel art and music/SFX. Jump feels a bit floaty, and having to push E twice in front of the door to get through seems excessive (open+go through should be one action). But otherwise this was an interesting take on a man's journey deeper into madness, very Stephen King. Great job!

I really enjoyed the game, it was really bad to play as a drunk dad (maybe mother too?), he killed his dog and so on, just really sad. Pixel art is great looking!

This game was cute, and even though the premise was sad (can't believe you made me kill my dog!), I think the exectuion and humour was good! So it's a shame that it doesn't opt into the humour category. However, I can understand why that might be the case due to the potentially sensitive subjects matter.. Nonetheless, a great experience! Although I did get stuck when I got to the room with the squirrel-toy puzzles. The platforming was also really difficult here, so eventually I had to give up. It's a super cool little experience though, and a great jam entry. Thanks for making it!

Sry for not having the music in the puzzle room, we didn't check this in the last rush, but I hope some of you will solve the puzzle (did you find the solution easily ?) to reach the last level with the third & last music (the best one !) and then the conlusion of this deep mad journey.

Cute pixel art, decent music, pretty solid controls, although I do agree with some of the other reviews I've read that some of the jumps are super hard to land. Otherwise, great job!

Very cool game !
Mechanics are strong, art is very good (love the pixelated style) and hands down for integrating some story elements in such a short amount of time!

Oh.. congrats on your achievement. It suprised me, I expected less! :D I was not able to complete it, the last(?) room was too hard for me. Not sure hurting the dog should be a necessary thing to do xD (poor dog).

controls are a little too slippery for the chest puzzle to be anything more then annoying, pretty good otherwise.
