the game loop is fun and the art is really cool. I got stuck to the wall when i died but other than that it is well made. The lighting effects with the shadows look really good.

Pretty good game! Was waiting for a jumpscare tbh, but it didint happen. Nice aesthetics and interesting and hard gameplay. Damnn, good music.

Love the creepy creature paintings! The lighting effects gave it a pretty cool overall look too.
And wow, it's pretty hard, especially in the totally white areas! Quite often, I died because I hit a wall lol.
Managed to get 159 points so at least I got past the 100 threshold :D
A custom font choice would've been nice to tie it together a little more but it's not a big deal

Hmm, 173.... not sure how good that is since posting scores seems to be a rare thing.

Now this is a really original game! I had to mentally keep track of where I was during the white areas, it sure wasn't easy. Managed to get the hang of it after two deaths, thankfully. I love how even when you get to the point of random generation, the shadows are still making the game even better by continuously talking. (The player is on top of the text so I can use the dialogue to my advantage and figure out where I am, hehehe....)

How did you do sectors of light and shadows? Is it real light sources or some trick?

@peace-of-cake-games it's pretty good! I designed the level and i'm only at 200 xD My friends tend to die at 50 haha. Muahua, right? It's like yesss.. talk more you foooools >=D Glad you enjoyed it!

Got 192, good atmosphere and great art design/mood.

This is pretty impressive for a 5h entry. the art looks nice and creepy, love it. The light effect fits really nicely, too though I feel it's a bit too bright. (I'm not good with high contrast, I easily get headaches when something is too bright compared to its surroundings).
Gameplay is simple but works great like this.

I really like your game.
The athmosphere is very interesting and well done.

The concept to know your position by using dynamic light is a good idear, that add more challenge :)

Simple and generic concept, but still a fun game that I've replayed a lot of time! It's amazing how my brain can do some mechanic movements and move the ball through the obstacles, even when I don't see the ball. It really leverages the 'backend' capabilities of the human mind :) GJ!

Amazing game, I loved it, also very hard. I love bizarre stuffs, the masks are creepy, and the music its perfect for this atmosphere. Such an unique mechanic. Maybe to add more of your style (if the masks wasnt made for you) I think its missing something, I just dont know what hahaha sorry, I loved, congrat, awesome game!

I love the art of this game, I would gladly hang an art piece in this style on my wall! As for the gameplay itself, the controls feel a bit.. sluggish to me? I'm not sure what it is and whether it's intended, but I think it would benefit from being a bit more responsive/snappy.

Wow, I really loved the creepy dark look of the game :)

Beautifully creepy, and supremely hard.

Really interesting concept with the light, makes it really challenging and fun. The art and sound is polished and ties the theme of the game together. Overall everything about the game is really great - only thing is the text font could be changed to something that's less plain and fits in with the the theme more like someone else has said.

I could not get the web version to run. :slight_frown:
