You play as a sumo working as a miner for the Onigiri Mining Corporation. Its your job to dig out all the burried onigiris. Your quest will lead you deeper and deeper into the cave. Brace yourself its gonna be deep.

How to play

Click and drag and the let go to launch your miner in the opposing direction. Use the left mouse button to click buttons...

He is a good friend of mine and joined basically last minute and created the jingle and button sounds. Sadly he didnt had time to created some indivudual music for this game, so he gave me some existing fitting music he had in his library. He makes beats professionally so make sure to check him out. You can find his links in the game.

Went a really funny direction when I didn't expect it to! Very well done! Only nitpick is that it's sometimes a bit hard to understand the speech.

The text to speech was pretty unexpected and the art style looked cool. Love the ending too. Cool game! I wish the end of level holes were a little bit bigger though.

I can't say that games make me actually laugh out loud a lot, but this one did. The text to speech and all the "meta-humor" was hilarious. Very slick looking UI, the sound effects were a pleasure to listen to as well. Although, it was a little hard to understand how to control the character at first. But a great game!

Insane amount of polish on this game, and it's basically a don't laugh challenge! I would love to have a full version of this, this would be a great mobile game.

Great presentation and humor; I think it might have benefited from some type of enemy/obstacle to knock you around (or maybe fake Onigiri blocks to dig up) but the story and humor really carried it regardless! Very fun and fresh approach to the jam, nice work!

Very funny game. I loved the forced ratings/ads. Only issue I had was I bugged through the wall.

I really liked the forced rating, video ad and payment, and that you couldn't progress otherwise. That was fun! But I'm sorry, the controls were just not to my liking. It was just way too hard in tight areas.

@starerik Yeah i can feel you. Its supposed to have a trashy feel but espacially the holes are really tight to get in.

@snip-man Damn edge colliders :D happend to me to, i just slapped the reload button in for that. Defently gonna have a look into that for my next time using this collider :D

I love how you shade the Sumo guy, very muscular. But also note that if you shade the guy, you also need to shade the environment and stuff or the guy will not blend in and looks kinna weird. Besides, I love the gameplay, 5 star on the theme. Greatjob!

Played until I got stuck out of bounds. The dev jokes where nice, the gameplay as well even if it lacks polish on the controls/direction and variety of gameplay elements in my opinion. The music is quite repetitive, other than that the sfx and voices where very funny !
Overall I feel like this games lacks cohesion. I don't quite get the link between the jokes/japanese art and digging gameplay, so the entire things feels more like a patchwork of ideas than a well rounded story.

I had so much fun playing, a very funny game. The graphics are great and the music is awesome.
The voice acting was just perfect.
