The last step in a fish's life.

My first Real Game Jam!

I'm very inexperienced... but glad to have participated!

(I apologize for shittyness in advance + seizure warning)

A fish has reached the time in his life when he needs to reproduce, and he found his mating hole. Unfortunately, he is a very light type of fish and needs to use a rock to dive to 300m under the surface, where the breeding chamber is. Once he arrives there he will have fulfilled his life, but it's going to take a couple of tries....

Luckily, the eggs will be well protected once he gets there!

Bigger rock: you have more hit points and you go faster.

Decreased acceleration: self-explanatory

Any criticism welcome.

note: the safe spot is both a bug and a feature, use it if you want to.

Now the game worked! Man he was very cool, in the first attempts he reached supersonic speed but with the upgrades I managed to reach the end;)

Interesting game! The speed of the background was a little bit hard for me to look at, but it was good adherence to theme and interesting overall

I managed to reach the end with a safe spot at the right of the screen.
The upgrades were interesting because they balance each other.

Same as @leandro4002 said for the safe spot. By the way, the parallax background have burned my eyes xD
But nice first game, and I hope you learned a lot (you dont fall(lol) in the "I have so much ideas, I need to implements all of them ! :D")

The reason for that (simple idea) is that I watched a good video previously, and even then I had a bunch more ideas that I luckily didn't decide to add.
I did indeed learn how to use google.

you can win easy by sticking to the right wall ^^#
the wiggle mechanic with how the fish follows the mouse around is pretty cool - worth expanting upon imo :)
yeah not bad if you did all this on your own 1st experience in 48h :grinning:
