Roots is a game where you grow your roots deeper and deeper underground. Collect yellow orbs to grow even further down and extend extra roots to cover more ground.
Arrow keys to move left and right.
Space to make more roots.
Enter to toggle full screen.
Esc to exit.
First jam. I did not have much time but wanted to join the jam anyway. I wanted to create something where you could express yourself. I used Game Maker Studio 2 and its draw function to make all graphics and roots themselves are just ever growing arrays. Hope you enjoy your own roots :)
