Good start, nice graphics. I wish the enemies would shoot back, though.

Cool concept! I really like the idea of having a kind of... mutual enemy? in the form of the plasma ball that hurts you but also hurts the enemies. I think a fully fleshed out of this game could be really neat.

What an interesting blend of genres.

The plasma ball is a super neat concept, but the hit detection and bouncing is a little inconsistent, and sometimes when the ball hits you it immediately kills you no matter how much health you have.

Graphics were very good, very nice gamefeel with getting hit/hitting. The plasma ball is interesting, I liked that you could push it around with your gun. I did have to mute the game because the audio was crazy loud.

Putting the player at the top totally threw me off - it got me wondering about all the conventions we expect in computer games. Why are we always at the bottom in space shooters? And then there are enemies that only fire when they're fired upon. Did I start this?? Am I the bad guy?? There's this whole structure of assumptions we make when gaming and you've brought the whole thing crashing down. It's too hard though.

I really like the moody sprites. Gameplay was a bit exhausting because the life did not regenerate and the ball sometimes instantly killed me (although i was full life). But after some time I got used to the missing life and could handle it better.

The control scheme is a bit unconventional :D, I like the idea though, very fun.

Nice game! I found that there were some levels, medium difficulty, and then YIKES there were enemy bullets everywhere. But apart from that, nice job!
