Haha, great graphics! Particularly liked the Zoidberg-looking snowman character. I managed to complete the game after a few tries. The falling blocks were a nice touch. If anything there should probably be bounds on all sides of the map. I managed to find myself in a free-fall but without visual queues it looked a bit like the character was just stuck. Perhaps a bit tweaking of the gravity could be useful too.

The end screen didn't quite fit, but if this was your first attempt at a Jam, nicely done.
Some pointers for future jams (that I hope you participate in) Try to go with smaller sprites so that you can fit more on the screen. It was kind of hard to react to the stages because you had so little time to react, once you saw them.
Overall, a decent first go.

Not bad for a first attempt. The hand-drawn graphics have a certain charm to them, especially the "BANG" that appears when you touch a bomb. It might be a good idea to have some sort of "kill zone" at the bottom of every level, in case you fall off: currently there's at least one level where you can fall off the platforms and just keep falling forever, with no way to restart the level. I also think the character's jump speed is too slow.

Keep working and keep developing! The more games you make, the better you'll get!

The game is interesting, the mechanics and the principle of the game are great, however the graphics do not seem suitable to me, in particular the character, which gives the impression of having been painted on top, and the star which is shaped. square.

I advise you to use characters more suitable for video games and transparent images for your objects to avoid this kind of mishap.

You should also use music, music gives the game a good atmosphere when it is well chosen, this is very important.
