What's the game about?

Well... Dogs! Everyone likes dogs! This game is only for 2 players. There is no single player content. One of you plays as one dog; and the other one plays as the other dog! There are three modes to choose from:

1. Bone finders: A bone is randomly burried within the sand or dirt. You'll have to dig in order to find it! The first one to find it and bring it to their dog house wins!

2. Hide and Seek: One of you hides a bone within the stage. Then, the other one has to find it before the time runs out!

3. Bone frenzy: The stage will gradually get filled with bones! Whoever can collect the most wins!

Really good game. I actually played it with a friend of mine and it was quite funny. The only thing I "dislike" about the game is that certain modes could be changed to fit singleplayer, too. (e.g. Bone frenzy -> Collect as many bones as possible before the time runs out (bones despawn after a few seconds, of course)) But apart from that it is a really funny little game.

I like it. Especially that you have 2 player this adds a good element to it. I wish I could dig sideways, it seems I can only dig down. Aside from that it seems pretty solid. good job.

A simple, fun game. We were able to pick it up very quickly and dig up some bones.

The music is a little too piercing for me. I found I had to play without sound.

The pixel art is cute, especially the little flowers.

I really liked this one. High level of polish, certainly for a single developer!

Props for:
- the great sound design
- multiple game modes
- single keyboard multiplayer
- clear in-game instructions
- lack of major bugs

The only small complaint I have is that some of the blocks don't seem to properly render (black textures).

Hello. Developer here. Thank you everyone for your kind words. @lex-randea I think you are refering to the dirt blocks. Those are black intentionally (actually, they are brown). You can dig on those. Nontheless, if you are actually not refering to those, please let me know so I can get the issue fixed.

Interesting take on the theme. It would have been nice to have some single payer content, but it is fun to play with a friend. The controls are a bit weird at times and it looks like you can dig in some places in-between two tiles of sand or dirt but it would not dig anything in that case. And also when there is sand below a platform it's almost impossible to dig it.
The art and the music are both so cute, well done!

Very cute game about dogs, looks fun too but I tried it alone so I can't really judge. Digging to the side felt weird to me (you had to dig down and the hold right or left), and digging downwards on the edge of a block sometimes didn't work.

Played at two, Nice game, love the fact that there is multiple play mode for game jam !

The only think that bugged me is the jump, I had to really be on the centre of the platform to jump and had really hard time jumping some time as I'll fall down because the game considered that I was not on it while pressing jump :/

Really nice entry, gotto love those pooches! 3 different modes is impressive, and it's not common to go for muiltiplayer in a jam game, so that's commendable too. Nice work!
