A game about funny creatures woompers and their helper stomper.

Play as stomper and help woompers to run from ice.

Go deeper and find new home

We participate in Jam but all graphic, sounds and code were created from scratch. The game were created in Godot.
It's our first game ever so we don't have any expectation but of course we will be happy if you enjoy it

Use WASD or arrows for move and stomping (you don't need to press button many times for stomping, just hold)
You can stomp only a tile that is +-1 next to you

Tiles have different time to destroy and one of them is undestroyable
Press E to drop mushroom
Press Q to set up campfire
Press space to pickup mushroom

You get score for each woomper that is still not frozen

The woompers are very cute ! But I keep being stuck under them and can't finish the game 😥

Cute game, fun concept. Really easy to get stuck and for the woompers to get stuck, although that might be because I didn't realize you could move the mushrooms at first.

I really like this game! I just find digging really satisfying and I really enjoy moving around the world. I don't really know what the goal or what is going on though.

I liked the mechanic and the idea. Btw, nice to see another godot users :)

I think it would be great to have more visual signals in the game.
Like which mushroom a woomper want to eat right now. Or how long a fire works under freeze.

Anyway, it was nice to play!

Lovely art, great voice acting! I got stuck many times with woompers and I had to reset. Perhaps removing the collisions of the woompers and stopmers?

Cool game! I got a bit of a Lemmings vibe from trying to keep the wandering woompers alive.

I had to read comments and the game description to really understand how to play. Some more visual indication of what the woompers were trying to do (or when they needed food and fire) would have gone a long way towards making me care about them. As it stood, I kinda just kept digging down and left them to die if they couldn't keep up, haha.

This is a really cute game. Music is sweat and the woompers and stomper are endearing, but the mechanics aren't working well. After a few minutes I stopped using fires and mushrooms at all, 'cause it seems it doesn't affect the game and so I digged just down and reached the end with no woomper.

I just reached the bottom! Really nice and interesting gameplay mechanics! Maybe it will be more fun to play if can add some feedback or effect when stomping the block.
