Best way to enjoy this game is use mouse.
GamePad is not really supported.

- I didn't have time to complete this, there might be bugs hiding...
- I did this game jam alone. However, I used monster assets from ldjam45 to remember feedback and good memories. (One enemy asset, two monster assets)

Fix after the game jam

I received bug reports from people who played. So, after gamejam, I fixed certain bugs.

- Game stuck while playing
- Restart button is not working
- HP UI & Icon sprite in turn bar doesn't match & HP goes down below 0

I really enjoy these types of games, and I like how you added in dialogue. I liked the very handmade graphics aesthetic but felt like the whole thing needed a bit of polish. Goob job!

@dinwy The game loop is here, with upgrade->fight->upgrade->fight and such. Nice job (^w^). (I think the loop is infinite ? - I also stopped because the game stopped (a soldier is stuck saying "I'm gonna killl ya" xD at normal rifle ver 5)). But it was enjoyable (^w^)

Very fun RPG. The mutation upgrade things are very interesting. I would like to see this game polished because it's really cool! Sadly it just stops after a while, at first I thought it was because one of my characters dies. Overall very solid entry. Great job!

Nice game, don't see many hexagonal strategy games in LD. I thought it was pretty fun, and entertaining, and I played it until I died. A good tip I have to you is to always be lenient towards the player - they should ALwAYS have the upper hand. What I'm thinking of in particular is the jamming. As a gimmick, it is really frustrating, as losing an interaction should always be your fault. Maybe make it timing based, or implement a small lenience system where the player can't get three jams in a row.

I will remember this, and next time I will Implement a small system, pity timer or something lenient. Thank you so much for this!

I just played and had the freezing bug, when I was fighting three of the bigger enemies. The gameplay loop is fun and I agree with the other comments that this could be really cool with some more polish. Sound effects, perhaps a visual to highlight whose turn it is. I never had trouble knowing whose turn it was, just think it's little things like that which make the game feel more polished.

I should put more visual highlight and assets. Because of lack of my skills, I spent to much time in coding. But I will remember your kind comment and will improve in the future. :)

Enjoyed the dialogue a lot! Sadly it crashed when I had to fight the 3 big guys, but I enjoyed it while it lasted! Graphics didn't look great but they made me smile :)

In the 6th fight the game got stuck after an enemy attacked. But i got a lot of bloody titanium. :-)
Overall a good expirience but needs some fixing. Very good entry. Keep it up.

It seems like an interesting idea and fun execution, but very much repulsed by the graphics. I understand that the graphics probably ran out of time, but it's really not very good

I was quite stuck at first but then got the hang of it. I'm still thinking about the graphics though. They were not really high quality but the way they were setup is really cool. Sprites having shadows and the woods around

No words just amazing. I've always wanted to play a game where my goal is world domination (though you know.. was disappointed at the end :smile:) The art amazing. The music spot on. Love it.
