Are You Sleeping?

Surprisingly scary, I shouldn't be playing this at 4am :cold_sweat:

Got to the point where I couldn't hammer buttons fast enough to kill the monsters :joy: Would be nice to have a way to close your eyes early if there aren't any monsters

It was a really cool mode using simple concepts, the audio really made the game feel alive!

Cool game and like others have said, the audio is really good, sets the mood ^^

The sounds were good for setting the mood. Maybe it would be nice if the difficulty could be increased by having more complicated button combinations instead of just needed to mash faster. Nice job.

21 nights as soon as the spider guy came I couldnt beat him. Great sound for a horror game, graphically was alright but I did really like the monster design, gameplay its very simple just spamming keys, probably effort went into audio and graphics. In terms of theme you did a good job there.

Good graphics on those 'hits'. Good sounds but a bit repetitive.

My suggestions would be to have some 'lull' night where no monsters appear and the sound is more chilled. Being full time on edge has less impact. Rather than spamming keys, have the player hit a series of keys in order.

Each night I was really looking forward to seeing what horror would appear and it would be sweet to design more of them if you make any updates to this game. Makes me wonder what a boss enemy would be like. I can only image. Good job!

Resisted until night 21. I actually started losing at 16 and never stopped. Nice atmosphere!

I don't know why, but this made me think of fever dreams. I wish there was more gameplay, but it was a very interesting experience with good audio and mood. Fits the theme perfectly.

Wow, the sound was what really made it for me in this game. The noises and soundtrack made it far spookier for me

I waited the whole game for the screamer. But on the 15th night he turned it off. Sound and mood are good. But the graphics and mechanics are boring.

That was really disturbing. I managed to make it 24 nights and then couldn't smash the buttons any faster. I was really expecting a jump scare at the end.

De-pressing. Straight-forward. But makes you want to laugh along with those... creeps). Great example for not having some sleep in a roadside barn.

Hey! As it was a compo game, sure, great that you have something playable! Nice sounds, and I'm sure you tried your best on everything else, but :) The gameplay is quite boring tbh, in my opinion. Would be nice if the keys would go randomly, or if you will have much more types of monsters, and introduce their button just in first appearance. Anyways, good job!

The sound effect makes nice creepy atmosphere. The art style is fine too. Changing 1, 2 and 3 buttons to a sequence of few buttons (either random or set fix to a monster) and more types of monster would mage the game more interesting. Good job!

The evil laughter was a nice touch, the foley sounds and MS Paint style art really set a mood, the enemies in the latter levels felt too tanky but I made it to night 21.
