You are a man with a thirst for gold and a box of highly unstable explosives. What could go wrong?

A/D to move, S to throw a stick of dynamite, and hold and release W to jump

Running into a wall or boulder will jostle the contents of the box, resulting in death.

Destroy boulders and terrain with dynamite, jump over gaps, and watch out for the totally intentionally glitchy-looking terrain.

We're not making another platformer for a ludum dare after this surprisingly thematic experience.

Great job! I really like the graphics, and the dynamite throwing mechanic was particularly satisfying! The lose conditions were a bit confusing, and I was unable to understand why I lost. Only after dying multiple times I realized that touching any side other than the top resulted in the player character dying. Also, I was not able to understand the end goal of the game, although I might have missed it or maybe time constraints got in the way. All in all, I can see the blueprint of a fun arcade-y game mechanic here, you just have to mine (or TNT) it for gold (wink wink).

I can definitely see the start of something here. Tossing dynamite is fun, I would add more reasons to start chucking sticks. I couldn't figure out what the instability was, but liked grabbing some gold at the end!

Interesting idea but the web version seems to be really glitchy and the jump mechanic is just plain weird.
